    On September 19th I was bidding on a storage unit with this company and won it. I bid $10 on the unit. I used a friend's card to pay it. Once I received the invoice, it stated I still had a balance owed. When I went to the business, I was told I needed the remaining balance of $9(after being charged $11) plus a $100 cash deposit for cleaning It is not explained on the invoice. The business states the person buying the unit is responsible for cleaning. So when I asked why I had to pay for cleaning when im doing it, the business really never explained anything. The last email was that they were no longer authorized to make decisions on the unit and I could feel free to call the main office on Monday. I never got the unit I purchased or received my money back

    We use ******************************** for our auctions. Bidders go on the website to bid on storage lockers. They collect a fee from the bidders for each sale and I believe that is stated when bidders sign up on their website, and we collect the remainder for the sale of the unit. We state very clearly that bidders have 24 hours to claim a unit once won. Our auctions always end at 10am on a Friday, giving bidders until 10am Saturday to show up with payment and a cleaning deposit that gets returned when the bidder comes and tells us the unit is clean and empty, and we verify that it is. If a bidder does not show up on time we mark them as a no show, and ******************************** handles everything from there.

    This bidder did not show up on time with the proper identification, and when she contact the facility via email was reminded of the policies stated on the website and explained the cleaning deposit would be returned. She never showed up after that and we never collected any money from her. I believe it is ******************************** that she should be contacting.
