      My husband and I rented the property at ***************************** in ****** ****** from June 15, 2011 until Sept 30, 2022. Our rent was paid on time every month. We left owing nothing and with no damages. And we did give a 30-day written notice. We moved to ******** on Oct 27th and I gave my ******** address to ****** (the office manger of Encompass). After not receiving it by about the 1st or 2nd week of November I called ****** and she told me that she mailed the check to the Chemawa Rd address. I thought it would be forwarded, but it wasn't. I called again and she said that it wasn't cashed, but it hadn't been returned to them. It's been over three months and we still haven't received our deposit, nor have we received any correspondence from the property management at all. I've made numerous calls to ******* and she tells me that I need to speak to ******* because she writes the checks. ******* has never returned even one of my calls.Our move out inspection was scheduled for Sept 28th at 1:15 pm. When no one showed up my husband called and spoke to ******. She said there was a misunderstanding and that there wouldn't be time to schedule another inspection before our move out date of the 30th. She said she would just go ahead and mail us our $500 deposit. The property was also used for church services (my husband and I were the pastors until we resigned to move to ********). Encompass had already rented the property to ******************************* They moved in on Sept 30th (changed their minds about pastoring the church), and moved out the next morning. Our organization's ****** (**************) had the lease put in his name so that church could continue having services there for a couple of months until they made other arrangements. So my husband and I are not responsible for any cleaning or anything that *** have been left behind by the Laderlich's or the church.
