    I had a terrible experience with the service department at the Lithia Dodge in Roseburg. This included erroneous information about whether they could perform a recheck of the fluid level after a transmission flush they did, a mistake in overfilling the fluid by 4 quarts, and misinformation about test driving my vehicle before and after the flush. Through all of this the service manager, and then the general manager insisted that I should trust that they wanted to help me out. They do not have my trust, I will not be returning, and I am writing this review so that others in our community are aware of their poor service practices.I did leave a ****** review and they responded to that. In light of that response, I would like to further clarify that the reason I took my car to another dealership to have it looked at was because I was told by the Lithia Dodge that they were unable to recheck the fluid level due to it being a sealed system. They did request to check it after I brought it back with paperwork on the overfill, however I declined until they agreed to give a written statement that they gave me (erroneous) information about not being able to check their work themselves. They also requested to test drive my vehicle, so they could compare performance before and after the flush, which the other dealership obviously could not do. While waiting for this statement in writing, I discovered on the R/O from them that the mileage in = mileage out, so they obviously had not driven my vehicle before and had no comparison other than what I had stated. It was at this point that I chose to not continue to work with them. I requested a refund for their service and a reimbursement for the follow-up performed by the other dealership, which the corporate office did provide a check for. Although the issue was resolved, I do not recommend that others have to go through an experience like this. There is a reason they have a BBB rating of D-.

    Purchased a dodge from Lithia a few weeks ago. The day I drove it home the check engine light came on and I took it back in, turns out the turbo was bad. They will only replace it with a used turbo. They replaced the turbo and drove it home to find out they did not do the repair correctly and was leaking oil everywhere. Took it back in and issues were still not resolved. The turbo they installed was not installed correctly but they said it was.

    Took my truck in for an oil change and a tire rotation. Truck was right around ****** miles. They call me a few hours later saying that my tires were so badly worn that it wasn't safe for them to put them back on the truck. I felt like I had no choice but to replace them. The previous time I was in I asked them to look at the tires because I noticed the wearing, I am not a car person, so I have to trust them to tell me what needs to be done. They did not say anything at my previous appointment when I was there. I drive approximately 5 miles a day, to and from work. They kept my truck overnight and told me it would be ready early the next day. I did not get my truck back until two days after that. We went in and spoke with the ** who is "not a car person either" and he offered us some credit to their store since he did not see the tires. We found out they were still there and when he saw them, he became an expert on tires and said some tires just wear out differently. They sold me the same exact tires, but these ones have a 50,000-mile warranty. Since I bought the truck new the tires were only covered by the 3-year warranty which had just expired not soon before my last visit. There are many other people with similar experiences. I don't know why anyone would take their vehicle here for any reason. They don't care about customers; all they care about is ripping people off.

    I have jumped through hoops and have tried to work with Lithia to no avail.My pickup has been at the Roseburg dealership for over 3 weeks, nothing has been done to it other than them draining 2 brand new batteries at $230.00 a battery. They used the dead batteries as one excuse as to why they could not get the pickup in to the shop to be looked at.This wait has been blamed on a lack of parts, that nobody wants to work and a rogue service mgr. that no long works there. I was just told, that Dodge JUST dumped a ton of parts on them with-out a "heads-up" ?At first they explained the problem was under recall and should be covered, they talked me into buying a long term warranty to further cover any work and parts needed. Yet after that they are still quoting me over $2200. 00 that is around the same amount quoted to me as before I was told about the recall and warranty. I've been treated like "CRAP" with a smile. But I'm not sure if it was a smile or smirk? The lack of professionalism and ethic's shown from Lithia is frustrating. I need my pickup to get to work and town, I'm going on 4 weeks without. I feel helpless and lied to and have no idea when my pickup will be fixed, I've been given several estimates as to when that will be..
