    We traveled to redmond to attend a racing event which was very dusty and dirty. We had no hot water the whole weekend at motel 6. Upon check out, we asked the desk clerk what compensation they were offering, and were told the manager said she didn't care about our discomfort and no one apologized. This was June 21-june23 2024. I emailed motel 6 customer care once I got home, and received an email of apology and telling me about how they tried to refund something onto my credit card but it declined send new card number. From then on, I have received no reply from my weekly emails through last week, which makes almost 10 emails. Credit cards don't decline refunds. I asked to be refunded 1 nights stay of 200 dollars, which I feel is fair. Being told the maintenence men were working on the situation while I watched these men outside my room window sitting around drinking beer all day and night, was beyond frustrating. And I was not the only guests talking about requesting compensation on Sunday. The staff were rude, we were tired and dirty from racing on a dirt track, and a brand new hot water tank sat in a box right outside the lobby all weekend.

Our company does not own or operate that property. Both of our Motel 6 Franchises are in ********* and ********, ******. I did have out team double check to ensure we had not had your listed as a guest and we did not find any record at either of our properties. Again, I apologize that this is your experience because it makes all of us hoteliers and franchisees look bad. I hope the BBB can assist you with locating the correct ownership group.

    I am rejecting this response because: I assume this means that the motel 6 in redmond oregon is a franchise. But this location is under the motel 6 company logo, therefore motel 6 is responsible for unsatisfied customers complaints. It is not acceptable to let a business use your company name without being responsible for their negligent actions. I suggest either demand my refund from this location or remove your name from the business.

    Dear Guest,

    Motel6 Redmond-OR, always try to give you the best experience during your stay.
    We apologize for any inconvenience during your stay.
    On June 21, 2024 you were checked-in but when trying to charge your **** credit card last 4 digits 9408, was decline, then, you paid 1 night cash, and next day the second night was paid cash again. When we tried to process a refund for the not "hot water" inconvenience (we did have water, but not hot) your credit card was declined again. On June 28, 2024 we sent you an email explaining the credit card declined situation asking you for a different credit card# but we didn't receive any answer.   

    Indeed, the company came to work to fix the hot water problem (during business hours/daytime, we never saw them drinking beer). 

    We appreciate your comments to help us improve.
