On 12/04/2024 we purchased a vehicle from Bridge City Auto on *************************. On the test drive and then on the way home we noticed the car was not driving right, and ended up doing what we were told to do if the problem continued, which was to bring it back so it could be looked at by Bridge City's mechanics. We returned the vehicle the next day.Long story short, it was the transmission, they said they were paying for it, they used the warranty they added on the deal without permission or our knowledge. They said they didnt know about the problem, but have owned the car since last June of 2024 according to diagnostic history. We agreed that we would forgive the obvious fraud if they would pay our first payment and replace the windshield which has several chips and a crack. We felt severly wronged but decided to just accept their offer to do these two things for us.We have called the number provided to get the windshield replaced no less than 10 times, and have not recieved any response. As well, we have not received a check for the first payment, and on top of all this, are being ghosted by the Sales Mgr. ***, who does not return our calls and has his sales staff shield us from speaking to him.

We bought a car from Bridge city auto and upon buying it the air conditioning did not work and the rims were beat beyond belief. As part of the negotiation when buying the car, they agreed to have us return the car so they could have their body shop or someone they source out to sand and fix the rims, so they didnt have to come down on the price of the car and fix the air conditioner. They called. We drove the two hours one way to ******** to bring the car five weeks later when they told us to return and get the car that it was fixed, we drove all the way to ******** and as we were getting , close to the dealership we received a call that the rims had not been fixed and the air conditioner had not been touched as well. Excuse that they couldnt get the rims off of the car because they didnt have the key to which we responded then maybe you shouldve purchased one youve had the car for five weeks . We took the car back home and have asked them to purchase it back since they did not follow through with the work they were supposed to do. They are now not returning phone calls. I feel like they are trying to rip people off and theyre very dishonest. In the meantime, weve got to make three trips to ******** in which there has been no reimbursement for gas, time, etc. The first car payment is due this week and we didnt even have the car for the first five weeks that we owned it

I purchased a vehicle on 8/13. That day after the transaction, it was leaking coolant fluid and the engine almost overheated. I took the car to a third party repair on 8/14, they stated that the housing and reservoir were cracked, and it was likely $2000, and so I took the car back on 8/14, to get my vehicle back, or have them dramatically lower purchase price in order to assist in repairs. They declined to do either option. They kept the car and stated they repaired it, yet coolant is currently leaking. They are not acting in good faith, nor are they willing to compromise.

We were sold a car that was unable to pass emissions or get registered due to immediate issues after purchase. The car is currently not drivable and no repair shops will work with our 3rd party warranty. We had the vehicle towed back to the dealership where they were unwilling to work with us, only offered to trade in on another vehicle and add the balance of the current vehicle. The vehicle is financed and we are still making payments and paying for full coverage insurance on a car we cant drive. Please help.

I purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk November 4, 2023 from this company. They offered me a $500 price reduction if I picked up the vehicle in ******** ******. They also quoted that I would pick up the vehicle with a full tank of gas. When I arrived to pick it up there was less than half a tank of gas, missing floor mats, missing front wheel center cap cover, missing the Jeep manual and a scratched navigation screen. They pushed to purchase a warranty for $2999.00 under their terms that it would reduce the loan interest rate by 0.5% at the dealership. They said, you can cancel the warranty at any time multiple times. I called Bridge City Auto Sales and ***** from Cornerstone Warranty to cancel the warranty November 5, 2023. I emailed Bridge City and phoned multiple times over the last 2 months and they refuse to refund the warranty in a timely matter. I called December 30 and spoke with ***** and he said he has done all he can do and hung up on me. They have hung up on me, my wife and daughter. They promise to return my calls and do not. I informed them that I was a disabled veteran and continue to be treated poorly. They have said, Im done dealing with this f******* guy: They hang up on me. They said *********************** the sales manager promised my daughter at the car dealership $100 reimbursement if she removed a ****** review. She did remove the review and requested the reimbursement multiple times and they refused to send it. This company has mistreated me, made false claims and promises they didnt keep, lied about their sales practices and treated me unprofessionally. I would like to be reimbursed my warranty paid in full of $2999. I would like to reimbursed the $500 for making the drive from ********** to ******** ****** to pick up the car. I would like to be reimbursed $40 for the gas they promised to be in the car. I would like floor mats, a Jeep wheel cap cover and Jeep manual. I would also like the $100 reimbursement for removing the ****** review.

Im submitting this Complaint on behalf of my son, due to his health conditions. This complaint is regarding a used car purchased from Bridge City Auto Sales in *********, ******, with a defective engine. On 9/20/2023, my son purchased a 2012 used ****** Impreza Wagon with a mileage of approx. ****** at $21,198 from Bridge City Auto Sales. When driving back from *********, **, to *************, my son heard a noise from the engine. The noise got louder in the following two days. On 9/25/2023, the car was taken to a shop and diagnosed having a defective engine, requiring a new/rebuilt engine at an estimate of $10,500. Bridge City Auto Sales had my son sign several documents incl. Agreement to Arbitrate and Disclaimer of Warranties. Basically, the car was sold as is with no warranty and in case of a dispute, buyer agrees to go through arbitration to resolve dispute. On 9/25/23, my son emailed General Manager *********************** of Bridge City Auto Sales the diagnosis from the shop of the defective engine. On 9/27/23, *** responded, We also make it very clear about vehicles being sold as is. The vehicle was in perfect working condition when the vehicle was purchased. I have ran this up the latter and I would be willing to check the vehicle out and give you a second opinion. I know that *** be difficult with your proximity to us. I should have some sort of response by this evening with what if any participation that we can offer you.FALSE ADVERTISEMENT Bridge City Auto Sales claims on their website that:....All of our vehicles.go through a rigorous inspection process before well put them on the lot.....We source quality used car trades from our new car franchise so you can be sure that all our vehicles are thoroughly inspected to meet our stringent standards.

Auto dealer has accpeted payment, cashed certified check and will now no longer respond to out of state buyer requesting confirmation that I can allow a auto delivery service shipping service pickup the car I have paid for. Communication with this business is not responded to and past questions asked amounted to "we will call you back when we have information" but I never get a call back.

I purchased a used car in May 2023. Days after purchasing, I abruptly had to move out of state with the intention of registering the car in my home state. Since the business had already sent my paperwork to the Oregon ***, I had to wait until the bank got the title back in order to register the car. After several weeks, the *** finally contacted me to say the title had been misrepresented and needed a rebuilt title. The bank says they wouldnt have approved a loan for a rebuilt title. Its now September and I still cant register this car or get any money back. Im stuck with a car I cant sell or register, but I owe the bank $10000. The car lot claims the *** is wrong or the Carfax report was inaccurate but cant produce any documentation proving otherwise. They just refuse to take any responsibility and tell me to file a complaint with ******. When I call, I get the runaround and they tell me to call back to talk to a new person the next day. When the next day comes, they say that person is off work. They are a scam

I purchased a 2018 suburban from Bridge City Auto Sales on 3/25/23 for $38,889.19. I was promised that they would fix the check engine light, send me money for my old floor mats from my trade in, and they would schedule me for a ozonator appointment. None of which ever happened. A couple weeks later my check engine light came on. I took it to a shop where they found that the spark plug was pieced together. I fixed all 8. Now my transmission went out. When I called the company to ask for them to help me, they refused. I asked about all the stuff that was promised to me and the manager ***** said people make mistakes and salespeople come and go and refused to help me
