EyeHealth Northwest did my initial exam and needed a second opinion to diagnose me with ***********. They didnt have the proper equipment to diagnose me at that location and I had to go to the EyeHealth Northwest SE ******** Location on *************. The following week, I went to the clinic and they verified I did have Keratoconus and they were going to send the information to ************ had previously told me that once I got the diagnosis, they were going to reach out to my insurance and start the process of approval for the special contacts I needed to wear. I verified with my insurance and they said yes, it is covered and they would need to send the pre-approval form. I reached out to Dr. *** office and all of a sudden I was not a patient anymore. The admin at the desk refused to let me speak to Dr. * and kept telling me to contact my insurance, they would handle everything. I reached out to my insurance and they were confused, they said Dr. * has to initiate the pre-approval and do the referral. I have been reaching out to Dr. *** office for weeks now trying to get them to help me or at least refer me to another clinic that can help me. My insurance gave me a third eye clinic, ******** *** clinic on ****** St. I went in to try and get this resolved but even the doctor said they couldnt help me. If they did the exam again, there is a high chance insurance would not cover it since its an annual exam and EyeHealth Northwest should have referred them to the clinic and send all the paperwork about my exam. I feel like EyeHealth Northwest only wanted my money and once they found out I needed more than just a regular eye exam they decided to kick me out. The admin lady has been to rude and short with me and all I have been asking is just for help, help me get to the right place or help me with the contact lenses.
