  Based on my experience with West Coast Express Moving, I recommend that people stay away from this company. They are dishonest, unorganized, and evasive. While trying to get your business they are kind and willing to answer the phone to assist you whenever you call. However, once they have your things, everything completely changes. Suddenly, you cannot get a hold of anyone. When someone does answer the phone, they provide you with unverifiable information that will be contradicted by the next person that answers the phone. At the end of it all, they lose your items and fail to provide proper paperwork for you to get your items back or at least be compensated for your loss. We were initially told that our items would arrive within a few days of our target date of 11/30. The company representative stated that it could take longer than that but that I should not worry. I ended up receiving most of my items at the end of the third week of December. The first week of December, when I reached out to the company to get an updated *** for my items, I had a hard time reaching the person that helped us get set up for the move, *****, and ended up having to call several times in order to speak to someone else. I was redirected to a person named *****, and each time I called he told me that he would call me later that day or the day after with an estimated ETA. He would never follow through, so I kept calling day after day, and the story remained the same. During the second week of December, I was told the items were on the truck and that I could expect a call from the driver on 12/11 or 12/12. The driver never called or texted. When I called ***** and informed him that there had been no communication, he acted surprised. On Thursday of that same week (12/12), a woman ended up answering my call and she told me that my items had never left the state of origin. Also, they use a third party for deliveries, something that I was not informed of.

  This is the worst company I have dealt with. The movers were rude. Added an additional $1300+ to the original estimate for standard mover activity. I only had 41 pre taped boxes (mostly small) and a bike. I was making a major life change and the person who picked up my things was rude and scary/Intimidating. They lost 9 boxes and a bike in the move.

  Chiarella Transportation and Relocation Services Inc and West Coast Express Moving stole my property and are trying to get away with it. Do not trust this company PLEASE!!! I was told by **** ***** to have all of my boxes packed and ready for pickup before the driver arrives to my home. First, it took 3-weeks for my items to make a ***** mile trip from ******* ***** to **********, ********. My items left ************************* in good condition. I receive my shipment and as I am marking boxes off of the inventory sheet...I notice boxes missing. The driver and I continue to make items off the sheet to find that I also had damaged items. I was told to contact **** at *******-*** and send him all of my concerns with the delivery. I sent photos of the delivery and inventor sheet that ******* (driver) and I were using to account for boxes. I was told by ******* that I had to sign the inventory sheet in order for him to move on to his next job. I signed it and again he encouraged me to file a claim for missing boxes and damage. I file the claim...OMG. I received an almost immediate response denying the whole claim. The company won't take my calls. I sent a dispute for the denied claim. According to Chiarella Transportation and Relocation Services Inc dba West Coast Express Moving, they are not liable for any missing or damaged items because their employees did not pack the boxes and the company claims that I did NOT annotate issues with my delivery on the day of delivery. Holycrap, I am so extra confused. Please help.

  If I could give this company less than one star I would. They were booked by Beacon Transportation for my move from ******** to ********. 1. there were issues with scheduling. I had to push my move back a day due to them not communicating with Beacon or having the availability. 2. The truck that was supposed to be there between 8am and 10am showed up at almost 6pm and took five hours to load the truck. This delayed my move by yet another day and I had to stay in a hotel. 3. They removed simple things from my furniture like the bottom stabilizing feet and then lost them. 4. they would not commit to a delivery date. I requested delivery as soon as possible, it took them 20 days to delivery my belongings. 5. Instead of driving the truck all my items were loaded on they transferred to another truck filled with others belongings. In doing so or during the journey they broke numerous items. (tv, wash machine, dressers, locker, bookshelf, dishes). 6. upon arrival, they had two people to unload. Very nice, but one not strong enough to carry certain items. 7. they scratched my flooring which has to be replaced because the feet were missing off my items. 8. they will not return calls and refuse to compensate me for any of the lost time or inconvenience. I have left message after message with no return calls. Because of insurance policy on damaged items I may not be able to wash my own clothes or watch tv in my own house for up to ********************************************************************************* quotes for flooring and filling out all the required information for the insurance claim. This company is part of West Coast Express Moving which does not have anything on the BBB website. They also threatened to take my items off the trunk after they kicked up the price by 4k on the day of loading. DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR BELONGINGS. Shame on Beacon for using them!

  Worthless scammers taking advantage of those in need. Quoted a price and and then loaded truck with my property held it hostage for more money. One of the two helpers stole my wallet.This company works along with west coast Express moving both company are criminal.

  These guys worked methodically and steady in the extreme Florida summer heat and got us unloaded much sooner than expected! All during the unloading, they were pleasant and made conversation and small talk with me and my wife. They were very attentive to detail and made sure all furniture and boxes were placed where intended. Probably the most important part of this review that I want to communicate is that these two young men unloaded all of our possessions like they were theirs. These guys were extremely conscientious and competent!! We would hire these guys again without any hesitation and highly recommend others do as well!!

  I had a very valuable group of antiques I needed, moved across state. Every moving company I called treated me like I was a number and did not listen when I was discussing the value, sentimentally and monetarily these items were worth. When I talked to west coast express moving they listened and understood what was involved in moving these items. They packed them perfectly, and when received were not damaged in anyway even though some were quite delicate.

  The owner has been great to work with, from the quote to the end of the move. ******, ******, *****, ****, and ***** were the best movers we've ever had, and we've moved a lot. They took great care in wrapping and unwrapping every item, were patient while we directed which boxes went in which room, and provided some much needed levity. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing to move.
