If we could give a "no star', we would. Our garage door stopped working and we replaced the spring, wheels, and cables. We couldn't do the tension ourselves, so we called INS Garage Door Repair. On May 26. 2023, the new technician arrived. He said it would cost $400 to fix the garage door. We said fine and then he said he didn't have any tension rods on his truck. My husband told him that he had the tension rods and the technician didn't believe him until he showed him. The technician used our rods and the garage door appeared fixed. The technician said that he would knock off $20 if we would give him the tension rods. Since we didn't need them, my husband agreed. According to the receipt, there's one year warranty. A few days later, someone from the company called to get feedback regarding the technician's service. My husband answered the questions and we thought it was done.However on October 26, 2023, the garage broke again. We tried to call the technician and the phone said the number could not be processed. My husband found the phone number to the person that requested feedback and talked to him. The person asked him to text the address and he did. When the technician came out, he again said that it was the wrong spring and it's the same spring that they did the work for the first time. Because the technician said it's the wrong spring, he refused to do the work and that he wasn't going to fix it for free. My husband reminded him of the warranty and the technician quickly (ran) left with the final words from the technician--thanks for the $400.
