              I Hired ********************* of Master Sweep to replace the flu in my chimney. He came out to the site and gave me a bid of $2,000 for the project. At his request I gave him a $1,000 deposit so he could purchase the needed materials. Check #****. He promised to get back to me with a install date the same week. I called on multiple occasions over the weeks and left messages, he did not return my call. He finally called returned a call and said he was out of town and his brother had COVID. I understood and we scheduled an install date for August 16th. He promised to make it all right.He did not show up for his scheduled appointment. I have left 4 voice mails, text and email, he has not returned any calls.

              We had a terrible experience with this company. We hired Jason D**** to install two pellet stoves to replace some old wood stoves at our property. We were lured into hiring this company because they promised they could get the installation done quickly and their price was fair. I received a bid from Jason on December 18 and he said he could start work on January 14. There were multiple delays with this project, often related to poor project planning and sporadic/short work periods. Jason would not show up at all on the day we agreed upon, and then show up unannounced on other days. He and his partner would work for about 2 hours and then disappear for the rest of the day without a word. This happened many times. In the end (February 4), he never even completed the job as promised. He was supposed to come back to install collars around the vent pipes and fix the mortar on the chimney water tables. He gave a $200 discount, saying I could pay the remainder when he returned. He needed to order more supplies. He never showed up or contacted us again. The installation was sloppy looking (vent pipes not straight) and unfinished, and one of our pellet stoves doesn't burn well (likely because of poor ventilation). Jason is dishonest and unprofessional.
