    I received a phone call from Ortquist &ass. today on 09/29/25 regarding a trust fund in my mother's name. i just need to sign some forms to receive the money. I was told there will be a $50 fine do now. After signing all the forms, they would not accent a check but run my card under credit. After the card went through the lady handed me a receipt for $445. i said what's this for. they replied that's fee for power of attorney and printing out paperwork. i replied you only told me $50. which they responded with yes that's the filing fee for state taxes. the state taxes are $34. i resounded what about the money in the trust. their response was we took all that money to cover fees and expenses. so how much is their left. Ready---zero. why did i just pay $445. for (paperwork?) yep. plus the $16 over the $50 state fee difference.
