I am writing to the BBB in hopes that you can resolve an issue of being double charged for a night's ********* are the specifics.I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Pendleton, ****** on Mar. 17, 2025. I prepaid through *************. (Advance Purchase Receipt attached) Upon departure, I was also charged for the room on my credit card. (Hampton Inn Receipt) I didn't notice this until I received my credit card bill. I contacted Hilton Honors and the specific hotel. The hotel manager failed to respond to both my emails and wouldn't answer the phone. The local staff at the hotel tried to assist me but couldn't. The answer I received was the system software changed not allowing a refund. To me this isn't acceptable. I have always enjoyed staying at the ************* over the years, and now I am rethinking that approach.I just want to be refunded for the credit card charge of $159.57. Double charging isn't a good business practice.thank you,****** *****

The general manager withdrew $500.00 additional charge from my bank account after charging me for a $216 one night stay. Without contacting me via email or phone. When I reached out they did not provide me with any information. I was told to call back the next day without any information. When contacting their corporate office. I was again told to wait until they contacted the general manager whom wrongfully withdrew money from my account. Zero information was given to me prior to the transaction and after. ******, the general manager of Pendleton hampton inn is stealing money from customers.

    Hello,

I received an email response from the business via BBB. After opening the response from Hilton Hampton Inn Pendleton, there was nothing included except the words "Manager." I cannot accept or reject the response because, there was nothing enclosed or stated that requires an official response.

Please advise the business that whatever the official response was from the business, it needs to be resubmitted. Again, there was nothing else in the response from the business except the words "Manager" in the comments field/section.

    Thanks,

    Steph
