    A technician came out on 11/18/2022 for a service call. He was here less than 15 minutes and took a few pictures and spoke to his supervisor. He then stated that he could not work on the furnace due to its placement and said that there would be no charge. I received an invoice the same day showing a zero balance due. Almost 30 days later I receive an invoice for the full amount of the service call, which is $169.00. When I called them they stated that upon further review they deemed it a chargeable call and that the zero dollar invoice was incorrect. I paid the bill that day as to not incur a 30 day late on my credit report. I did have a coupon I was going to use had he asked for payment when he was there. Because of how this was handled by them I would like a full refund.

    Dear *******************,  thank you for bringing this to our attention.  Our service tech should have collected at the time of the visit since we made the service call to your residence.  That is the case for these situations where equipment is not accessible.  We do honor that payment towards a future visit once that specific equipment has been made accessible.  We do understand that there was some confusion with regards to invoicing. Therefore, weve fully refunded your credit card, and hope that we can count on you to continue to be part of the First Call Family.  Sincerely, First Call Heating & Cooling Management.
