I saw an ad from Camping World that said they were purchasing RV's from consumers. I contacted them and spoke to ****** ***** on June 30, 2025 *************). I provided ****** the details of the camper I was interested in selling: 2025 Forest River Vibe 3400XL. She valued the camper and stated Camping World could offer between 38k-41k for my camper. I compared her values to Good ***: 39k-43k and found what she offered was a fair price. She told me I could either sell the camper to Camping World, or if I was interested in getting more money for the camper, they would consign it for me. I told her, I wanted to sell it to them, since 40k would pay off the camper, and even if they would only offer 38k, the loss was manageable. ****** set up an appointment for 7/8/25, told me to bring my drivers license, registration, and a ****** payoff. We hired ******* Hauling for $300 to pick up the camper from our seasonal site. When we arrived at Camping World, the General Manager met us at the door and before we even entered, said "Is this the Vibe"? I responded, "it is" and he told me he has no idea why ****** gave me the figures she did, because he would only give me $30k-$35k for the camper. I was shocked. We spoke to ****** 8 days before our appointment, and no one bothered to call me back and tell me this? He saw I was upset and said he was going to call ******. After speaking to her, he asked me to call her. I called and she said that she has no control over what the ** would offer me. When I asked her why she didn't tell me that, she avoided the question and started talking about inventory and different prices depending on demand, etc. She tried to get me to consign with them, but I would now have to haul the camper to ********** **. I had no choice but to haul the camper back to the campground and spend another $300.00. I would like them to refund me and apologize for their lies and behavior, especially the behavior of the ***

Purchased travel trailer at RV show on 2/3/24. We were told they offered service in campground where trailer was going to be placed. Had numerous issues with things in trailer, slide was off, fridge stopped working, door would not close properly, speakers and lights not working. In August we started hearing things in ceiling. Reached out to Forest River and let them know something must not have been sealed correctly on trailer and we were hearing things running in ceiling. They agreed to haul it to the shop in ****, ** to look at it. They did not pick up trailer when promised and when they finally got it to shop and looked at it, it was months later. We had meeting with the General Manager, Service Manager, Service Advisor and Tech. We were told by **** that it appeared the trailer was not properly sealed and he could see gaps, by the manufacturer said it will not cover. They talked us into turning it over to insurance who will only pay $5000. The estimate to repair trailer properly came back at $29,000. They gave us cheaper option of not making all repairs and that was $9995.

********************** purchased 'NEW' closeout of a 2023 in March 2024.The sales pitch indicated that our unit could be repaired at ANY Camping World facility. However, EVERY Camping World or Forest River said that there was a waiting list to have repairs made. This unit was used to view the total solar eclipse in ******During this time we discovered numerous problems with the unit, supposedly to be fixed upon our return from our trip. I uploaded a PDF showing some of these issues. All these issues are 'warranty' repairs....We returned the trailer in the middle of April, 2024.Forest River kept the trailer for 3 full months before we were able to recover it for use ******** August we finally took another trip, of perhaps 200 miles or so to the *************THIS time, we discovered that our refrigerator no longer function. So we used ice boxes instead to keep our food from spoiling.Frustrated, I returned the trailer to Forest River and left it to have the refrigerator repaired. They kept it for about 3 weeks before analysis of our refrigerator problem.I finally got a message from them saying that they were going to work on the problem. They questioned whether this was a warranty repair. My unit has a ONE year warranty. The date was September 18, 2024 when the service manager, ****, left the ********** is now October 1, 2024 and the service is still not ***********, we purchased and accepted the trailer in March of 2024, and Forest River has had it for at least 4 of the 6 months since the initial transaction. This is unacceptable! In my frustration I left a scathing review on 'Yelp' where their service manager requested a 'DM' from me. I sent an email but have heard NOTHING back from them.I am now an 'elder' at 74 years old. I cannot help but wonder how many other people in my age group are being taken by this outfit?Good ************** America 1 year memberships are wasted.
