During my overnight stay, the heater malfunctioned in the night. We set it to 67 but instead, it continued heating the room, until the extreme heat woke my husband and I up. It was at least low 90 degrees when it woke us up around 3 AM. When we called the desk, we were given a room next door, so we had to pack all of our stuff up at 3 AM to move. The room was still heating up the next day, so much so that the clerk told me that the cleaner walked right out of the room and couldnt clean due to the unbearable heat.In the night, the front desk clerk offered us what I thought was a comp for the room. But when I went to check out, I learned it was actually only a $30 discount on our stay. I asked for a better discount or refund due to the health hazard and electrical hazard we had faced, as well as based on what the overnight clerk had offered us. I was assured by the clerk that she would discuss with her manager and call me back promptly. Since then, *** called again and spoken to the same woman, who said again, that she would speak to her manager and call me back promptly. So far, I have yet to hear anything. I am frustrated and disappointed with the way this issue was handled. A $30 discount is not an acceptable response to a serious health hazard and electrical issue, not to mention just the frustration of having to move all of our stuff at 3 AM. I do not recommend this hotel and will no longer stay at ****************
