I went to Aspen Dental Care to have a sore tooth looked at, expecting to have it pulled back in March. They took my insurance information, took X-Rays and did an initial exam. I was then told that they would pull two teeth, not one. Then after, they would clean my teeth by doing an open gum system and that it would cost $2,000. The hygienist told me there was no other option and that was the way it was going to be. End of story. I went and discussed the payment options with the office person *****, and she said, they could pull just the one tooth, and that it would cost me $50. She assured me that was the only cost for the extraction, including what happened on that day. Ok that was fine. And set the appointment for only the single tooth extraction. On the appointment of the extraction, I paid my $50 was told that was all I owed. They pulled the tooth and told me they would send the antibiotic to the pharmacy. The antibiotic was not called in. I called them the next day and was told I might get the prescription called in in a few days. They made it difficult to get the antibiotic. Two months later I am being billed for an additional $110. They never verified my insurance before they decided to start with x-rays and the exam. If they had verified the insurance and discussed it with me, I could have had my x-rays from my previous dentist send my x-rays from that office to them. I was not given that option. They dropped the ball and now expect me to pick up where they defaulted. I have had difficulty getting back in touch with them to dispute the charges. Last time I was told I need to take it up with my insurance company. My insurance company is the one that told me that the dental office failed to verify my benefits. The charges they are trying to get me to pay could have been avoided had I been given the opportunity to go to my previous dental office. But they never bother to verify benefits or ask me to get the x-rays or records from my previous dentist.

I went in for a crown in 2022 January. I went in today April 3 ************************************** I owed them 600 dollars. Back in January I paid ******************************************************** full and that I would l not owe anything else. So ********************************************************** Why wasn't this mentioned to me when I made the appt. ? The people who took my money that day are no longer working there. They quit. Now there are all new people and nobody believes me when I tell them what the previous front desk told me in January. They didn't ask me for money but I am super upset that it took them 16 months to tell me I owed 600 additional expenses. The insurance company told me aspen put in the wrong code for a crown *** put it in as a vener. I didn't ask for a venor I said I only wanted a crown. I wasn't aware that they were doing a venor on o e tooth when I have 7 missing teeth *** need other work. Why would I pay **** dollars for a venor when I have some much more work that needs done. Thank you and best regards I will not pay this.

On March 3, 2023, my 89-year-old mother ***************************** (12/28/1934) had her first appointment with Aspen Dental located in ******, ****** to be assessed for dentures. ***********************************, DDS, the owner of this dental office, was rude and insensitive and actually said to my niece ********************* and mother how long my mother might be around and if this was really worth the cost. Yes, he said it out loud. How does a dental professional, or just a regular human being, have the level of insensitivity and unmitigated gall to say such a rude, disrespectful, and inappropriate thing? I tried several times to contact the local office as well as the corporate management to address this behavior. I did not receive any kind of response after several attempts. The office was more concerned with getting the cost of the estimated treatment and charged my niece $1`,000 on the first visit. We cancelled any other visits and requested a refund for the $1,000. We were assured those funds would be refunded since no further service was rendered. We are still waiting. This dentist has very questionable behavior and we were concerned for my mother's well-being going forward so we decided as a family to seek a different dentist for her dentures. Whether my mother had dentures for 1 day or 10 years, it's about giving her quality of life with quality care which doesn't exist with this business. There is no excuse for *************************************** behavior. He is completely unprofessional and is not any kind of positive influence for this business.

On Oct 31 after taking 3 different antibiotics Clindamycin, Azithromycin, and Cephalexin, I was still in pain. So **************** told me that I would have to have emergency oral surgery on that Wednesday. I went in Wednesday morning they put me under pulled my teeth didn't give me a chance to wake up from the *********, lifted me up threw my dentures in my mouth, didn't even fit them in. Threw me in the wheelchair and then outside my husbands truck. Total of 28 minutes from the time in to the time out. I was still disoriented when I got home. After recovering with my friend caring for me I decided to try these dentures.. They had an 1/2 inch over bite. What the heck these are not my teeth is what I am yelling at my friend... She told to make copies of my pictures and she was taking me back. I have never had an overbite especially 1/2 inch one. After shaving them down I told them they are rubbing on my gums they wanted me to wait 5 days until they redid an impression in the meantime due to my job I had to wear these dentures dealing with the pain of the rubbing and the overbite. On Nov 7 the redid the impression and on Nov9 they did a wax fitting of the teeth to see if it was going to work. I explained to them it still has to much of an overbite. **************** proceeded to tell me that is the best they can do, if I don't like it he will give my money back but I would have to render the dentures (leaving me with no teeth) and I can seek treatment somewhere else. I went back on the 10th to get these new dentures that were suppose to be based of the wax fitting and low and behold we are back to 1/2 overbite. They shaved these one's down, now I am dealing with my dry chapped lips my tongue doesn't fit over my teeth to even moisten my lips, I tried eating my teeth sound like a horse clopping, I can't rest my lips closed, my friends are telling my teeth hang to low and with that overbite, I can't close my mouth, barely reach my lips with my tongue, soars on my gums
