    I am writing to formally bring to your attention a troubling situation I have encountered regarding the purchase of a vehicle that I believe constitutes fraud. On February 29, 2024, I, ******* **********, purchased a 2010 ****** Tundra from Beaverton Car Company in Beaverton, ******. I agreed to a high-interest loan, expecting to refinance the vehicle shortly thereafter. However, upon attempting to trade the vehicle on September 13, 2024, I learned that the outstanding loan balance exceeded the truck's value due to an illegal odometer rollback. The dealer informed me that the odometer had been rolled back prior to the auction from which they acquired the vehicle; at the time of sale, it displayed ****** miles but had actually accrued ******* miles. Despite signing the ****** indicating a potential odometer rollback, I was misled regarding the vehicles actual mileage. This significant discrepancy has caused financial distress and I believe it breaches legal statutes regarding odometer accuracy. Given the dealerships dishonesty and the impact on my financing arrangements, I am seeking a full refund for the vehicle. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your guidance on how to proceed.

    I'm writing you in response to complaint ******** for a ************************************ purchased a vehicle from us on 02/29/2024.  ******************* purchased the vehicle, we as a company noticed discrepancies on the Carfax. Mr. ********** did look at the Carfax and signed it acknowledging it as well.  

     

    Beaverton Car Company purchased the vehicle from Carmax Auctions, which I have included the buy slip from as well. ****** has signed off on the buy slip, acknowledging the truck has ***** miles on it when we purchased it.  

     

    Mr. *********** signed a high-interest rate because his credit wasn't the best. Mr. *********** purchased an extended warranty in the amount of $5500 and gap insurance for $995.00.  He could cancel the warranty and gap insurance and his principal loan balance would go down by almost $6000.00 ish.  

     

    ******************* was here, he was super excited to purchase the Tundra.  We did nothing wrong as  company and we were upfront about everything.  If you should have any additional questions, plesae feel free to reach out to me.

    I have being charged the necessary charges to register my car in wa state, agter all the contract sign and car is ************** called and try the collect edicinal charges of $480 .If I don't pay i will not receive my wa state registration and plates, I trg to communicate several times with the business menager.I need my registration and license plates to drive my car.

    I'm responding to Claim ********. Mr. ******** bought a vehicle on 04/22/2025 and traded in a vehicle.  ****************** traded in a car worth more then what he was buying, he gets a tax credit and Pays no sales tax. The discrepancy of $480 dollars was not known until we got a quote from the *****************************************  I have explained this to Mr. ******** several times and sent him the quote from *************************** of Licensing.  Mr. ******** has been accusing us of trying to extort him and is calling and harassing our employees. 

     

    I have attached 2 documents. The First Document, which is the purchase order:

     

    Line 1 Under Itemization of purchase

     

    171.50 Includes 2 things: ****** WA Admin Fee and is paid to the State of WA, the second is a 21 Day trip permit, which cost $40.00 and is paid to the dealer. 

     

    Line 2B, is $167.75 which breaks down to $155.75 for WA title Fee and $12.00 WA filing fee.

    Total Fee $779.25, Mr. ******** has paid a total of ****** Leaving $480 money owed in order to complete his licensing.

    I purchased a vehicle with extended warranty. Didnt get what I paid for and was banned from the dealership for trying to express my frustration and concerns. Customers with similar experiences were in there during my last appointment time and I said to them that, if I were them that Id leave and dont continue working with the dealership because they were so bad with communication, customer service, professionalism, and job completion. Service wasted my time multiple days ordering wrong parts, bad appointment times when I came in and nothing was fixed or done, never returning calls, voicemails, and texts, left wood blocks attached to my car that fell off while driving and dented my car. Still cannot get ahold of anyone even after they did damage to the vehicle. Not to mention, they didnt finish the job before banning me from the dealership for asking pertinent questions related to the job at hand, my warranty through the dealership, and my overall experience. Before the manager heard any of my issues, ******* handed my keys back and told me Im never allowed back for speaking to customers. And banned me. There is no difference in leaving a ****** review or speaking out loud in the dealership. I have the freedom to critique and say what I want especially since Im under a warranty through the dealership. But not hearing a customer complaint is terrible business practice and being a manager and turning your back to the customer and taking the easy way out and banning them is ridiculous and leaves me with no idea what to do about fixing my car. They will not respond or answer back to me now and will not honor the jobs that needed to be done at this point. The job was partial and I have to take the car somewhere else to be fixed since its my daily driver and the dealership will not get back to me. Through the dealership the fixes would have been covered by warranty and at the suspension shop, Im liable for all costs that shouldve been done for close to free.

    Brought my car in for service the week of October 23, 2023 with a long list of items to look at including an inspection report from Audi Beaverton from few weeks prior where they identified several repairs needed. I asked BCC to call or email me before doing repairs and was told the paper I was signing was only authorizing their inspection not the work. They proceeded to do thousands of dollars of work without my consent. They replaced 4 ball bearings that didnt need replacement per the Audi Beaverton inspection. BCC failed to do the 2 things Audi Beaverton recommended that I had asked them to do. I paid $200 for the deductible for all the work. But because they failed to do 2 items on the list Ill need to pay another $200 to get the work done elsewhere. By replacing suspension parts that I didnt authorize, they ruined the ride on my car that was once comfortable and smooth. Driving my car is now excruciating on my back. Im having to shell out more money for medical treatments to deal with the pain. Ive emailed 3 times since November with no response. *** left at least one voicemail and tried to call other times without leaving a message. BCC hasnt responded. I want a response and for BCC to return my cars suspension to the smooth ride it had before. If they cant then they need to cover the cost of it being done elsewhere, including my $200 deductible. They also need to answer why they failed to get my permission to do the work when I specifically gave them my travel schedule and multiple ways to reach me when I dropped the car off. In OR it is unlawful to do auto repairs without providing a written estimate first. They didnt do that.

    To whom it may concern,

    Ive attached all the communications that took place with ***************.  Audi Beaverton inspected the vehicle and recommended the replacement of the control arms, and other items.

    **************** purchased an extended service contract that covered all the needed repairs, with a $ 200 deductible per the contract.

    The repairs were completed as specified, when we received an email from **************** with her concerns of the rougher ride, we reached out via phone on Nov 3rd, 2023, with no response.

    We have also recently reached via phone and text messages to attempt a resolution for her concerns with no response.

    For this concern to be addressed, we will need the vehicle brought back to our shop to duplicate the issue before any further action can be taken.As the warranty company will not cover additional repairs without proper diagnosis. If for any reason the new parts that were installed were defective,this would not be considered a new repair, and there would be no deductible with this issue.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    They did not contact me on Nov. 3. I have no missed call, no message and they also failed to reply to every single email. Claiming they reached out once yet never replied to any of my subsequent messages is a lie and a joke!

    They did not do all the repairs I asked for, they completely ignored the 2 specific items called out by Audi on the inspection report link I sent to them. They also failed to contact me or provide an estimate like I asked them to and they are required to do according to the law prior to doing any repairs.


    How can I even trust them to fix the problems theyve caused when they continue to lie about the situation and refuse to take accountability?

    They sold me a car that was riddled with problems and then started to cost me thousands of dollars within a couple months of owning the car. I took it in to them for service several times but they still never fixed all the problems. It got so bad that I just wanted my money back or a trade in if equal value to my car. They offered me trade ins that were significantly lower value than the car I purchased. They depreciated my cars value even though the damage was already existent, they just didnt inform me. Their sheer lack of service is the reason Im reaching out to the BBB. I would like either a full refund or a car trade in of ******.

    We're sorry if you felt unsupported by our team after we have addressed all the concerns you had at the time of the sale, normal wear and tear, maintenance items, and any other components become your responsibility after our complimentary 3-month, **** mile warranty have expired. We aim to ensure all our vehicles are both safe and reliable at the time of the sale, we make sure any known or obvious issues are addressed .

    The picture of the water damage was not an issue at the time of the sale, you were aware of the stains,  and when you brought it to our attention, we have addressed the issue by replacing the sunroof frame at no cost to you, I will be sharing a copy of the inspection at the time of service to the vehicle, with all the technician notes in response to the complaint. Brakes measured at 5mm front and back, coolant leak, and the rack and pinion were never an issue at the time of the sale. You have been driving the vehicle for over a year, with no coolant issue or steering issues. When you review all the items that was addressed prior to your ownership you can be assured that we do our due diligence. I hope this resolves your concerns about the condition of the vehicle at the time of purchase.

    I just got my vehicle back after getting some mechanical work done on it and upon getting into my car I noticed right away that my car looked off so I started looking and realized every single thing in my car was gone.. my glove box had been emptied, my center console empty, literally everything was taken, I had stuff hanging from my rear view mirror that was of sentimental value that is irreplaceable, my whole CD collection from my whole life gone. My sons tablet gone. My ipod and headphones gone. My car registration was taken, They even went as far as taking the photos of my family. Literally every single item in my car was gone. The only thing that was left was my son's car seat and one of my yoga mats. Then to boot someone had been smoking cigarettes in my very nice non-smoker car. Ashes and tobacco all over. Then when I confronted the manager of the dealership ( this is the dealership I bought the car from) he proceeded to tell me without even getting out of his chair or anything that "oh man maybe a homeless person broke into it" he barely even bothered to look my way as tears were rolling down my face. Obviously I'm not getting anything back.. i took photos while i was still sitting in the parking lot at the dealership and have attached them showing my car completely empty..but my car registration with my addressand my information is what scares me most cause now they know where i live! I'm just at a loss as what I can do

    The owner of the company ended up reaching out to me to try and make things right,  he has been very responsive and respectful. He made me feel heard and understood in my frustration and sadness for the loss of my items.  Video footage confirmed it was a random break-in and he has submitted the footage to the police.  I am very appreciative at how the owner has handled the situation.  His rude employee definitely does not reflect the business itself thankfully
