I paid $5,243.03 I took my car in on 7/14/2023 for several repairs like A/c hose, replacement on CAT ************** 1 Catalytic converter replaced and front braks, other stuff like air filters and oil change.then on 8/3/2023 my husband was going to take the car and park it at his work so he could when the date came pick me and my 91 year old mom at the airport on 8/7 and the car just died. Started acting like if was losing power to move some back fire sounded and then it just stopped. When I arrived back to ****** the very next day I had it towed to Dick"s Hillsboro Hyundai. They called to say that the " crank shaft ceased at the bearing" so that it had " ROD bearing failure" that the car motor was shot. I have not heard back except the next day to say there was nothing they could do. I feel that I have maintained for the most part my car in good condition and taken it to the Hyundai dealer to have oil changes and any repairs. I do not think that it is correct or fair that after buying not one but also another car we own with Hyundai that they are going to charge so much and then can't honor and replace the motor when it is known that Hyundais have been having " ROD bearing failure issues". I do love Hyundais but I am very disappointed that I can not get the help that I am needing. I still owe $9,000 and am paying off on a car that does not run. Please help make this okay and replace my motor. I would truly appreciate it. I filled this out form out a month ago and with all the stress on not having transportation when I brought my mom to visit grand/great children. This has been a nightmare she has not been feeling well and with dealing with that and my car. It looks like the file never went through. I have redid this and pray it works this time around.
