I had warranty repair service completed by Comrie RV in June-July 2024. The service had several issues, with the most concerning being the roof repair. I took my travel trailer to Camping World for warranty work to fix the issues caused by Comrie RV. However, ******** denied the warranty claim, stating that Comrie RV is responsible for the damage.Camping World provided an estimate of $13,000+ to redo the work done by Comrie RV. The primary issues identified include:The metal under the membrane on the roof is not fastened down and is working through the membrane, which will eventually cut through the roof. The WineGuard 360 wires were cut, and Keystone will not cover this damage as it was caused by someone else.I have an estimate and many photos to support my claim. Additionally, there are other repairs that were not completed correctly, but ******** has agreed to fix these under warranty.Previous Actions Taken: I wrote a review on ****** and the BBB, which received an aggressive response full of assumptions from Comrie RV. As a result, I am now resorting to this claim and will consider filing a court claim if the issue is not resolved.Resolution Sought: I am seeking reimbursement for the $13,000 estimate provided by Camping World to redo the work done by Comrie RV and to ensure that the repairs are completed correctly.Supporting available documents:Estimate from Camping World Photos of the damage (I have many and can supply any that are needed for evidence)Correspondence with Keystone and Comrie RV

      Business Response

      Date: 07/17/2025

Here we go again. I had to write a lengthy dissertation last time Mr. **** filed a BBB complaint against us. It was lengthy because Mr. **** seems to be proficient  to include lots of detail about how bad our service was. None of which made much sense. Without going through his entire narrative again I want to state that the unit was purchase at some dealer in **** who apparently failed to conduct a PDI ( Pre Delivery Inspection) on the trailer before Mr. **** proceeded to buy the unit and drive away. I was not paid to *** the trailer nor to clean it which was one of the many complaints directed towards us. It was my understanding that Mr. **** wanted the trailer back soon as possible which was our objective. The roof which is apparently his current main issue, was nearly completely blown away ( pulled away from the roof of his trailer) by the time it arrived at our dealership back in the summer of 2024. The air conditioner was about the only thing still holding it in place. We proceeded to repair the trailer as soon as our shop could work it into the queue. The remaining TPO material was removed. It had been cut too short, So we reroofed his unit with new material. This work was completed a year ago, and apparently is still in place. It seems very strange to me like many of his former complaints that he can establish that the flashing metal was installed improperly without pulling the roofing material back and looking to see what is under there. We do a lot of roofs and we have never had a complaint about not getting the flashing material attached properly.
He said someone is telling him it will eventually wear through the ***. We us a fiber tape along the flashing edges to prevent any possible wear and tear. This procedure is to factory specifications. Also what's strange about his current complaint is his statement concerning what the Keystone warranty department said. He said ******** denied the claim " Comrie RV is responsible for the damage."In talking to ******** they said they have no record of there being a complaint concerning our roof job being improperly installed, and they said all his current claims have been approved whatever they are. I have no idea what he's referring to when he said he has other items that were not repaired correctly. There has been no communication with us other than what I read here on BBB.

I am rejecting this response because:

It is clear that the Business owner is not aware of reality in this claim. I would of thought that the photos and the on going documented communication with Comrie and Keystone would be obvious, along with dated photos starting from the day we dropped off the ** to Comrie. The so called standards for using tape and fastening the metal side trim would of been nice for them to do but as shown in the photos and the response from a reproable service company they did not do. The documented conversation with Keystone is available where they mentioned they would not cover another business work and that I would need to deal with Comrie. I never met this guy and I'm pretty certain he has no idea what ** this is about given his response. This response if not surprising and I will need to escalate this claim. This was one step that was recommended to give the service business an opportunity to fix or correct the issue and instead they continue to flat out lie. I will move to the next steps with evidence to support my claim with the state. If it is helpful I can supply the photos and communication log that I have and when I get the log from the manufacturer ********. But, my guess is that since you the BBB is a mediation service there is nothing more to do here. If that is incorrect please let me know my options. Thank you BBB for relying the claim and for transparency.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ****
