    ****, at DC Auto Electric diagnosed that I needed the belt tensioner, and belt replaced on my 2022 Jeep Wrangler. He charged me $585 for the parts on 7/14/2025. Him or his dad made several appointments to accomplish the work. Each time, I showed up, and was blown off for one reason or another. The job entailed about ***** minutes for a professional. He could not work this in in a MONTH. On Aug 14, he called and said he would pick up the vehicle, and return it after the work. He never showed up. On Aug 15, he called and said he would do the work at my home, "after 3". He did not show up or call. I went to his place of business at 545, he was working on something else, and it was clear he was not coming to my home. At that time, I insiststed on a refund of my money. I was LOUD about this. He said he did not have any checks, and did not know how to do a refund on his card reader. I was told to come back Mon, the 18th, and he would issue my refund. My wife went in on the 18th, and he still did not have a check. The noise kept getting worse. I have to depend on the vehicle, as I have to take my wife to and from dialysis treatments 3 times a week, along with other apptmts. I had to have the work done by another shop, because this person could not work in a 40 min job, in a month. The extra money out of pocket is an extreme hardship, and I wish a prompt refund as they could not do the work.
