Paid *************************, Warrior Roofing ******* to fix a leak I had in my roof. This leak was running down the inside walls of my 1 front bedroom. When it started raining really heavy this winter the leak started running down the wall again. I have numerous text messages and phone calls to **** to ask for him to come back out and fix the leak. Obviously they did not correct the issue the first time. He has not responded. My daughter has started helping me and actually had him answer the phone a few weeks ago. He told her he would get back to her and let him know when he had time the following week. He never got back to her. She also has sent several text messages and voice mails to him with no response. She last called on Thursday 3/27/2023 and told him he needed to contact her by Friday 3/28/3023, he did not so I am filing a report. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income and feel like I got taken advantage of and this company is unwilling to come out and correct the issue or even look at it again. His CCB# on his business card is ******

    To whom it may concern,

My name is *************************, owner of Warrior Roofing and Construction.

I missed 2 phone calls from this customer, when i called back i spoke to ******* and asked to get customer name and address sent over to me because in my system i could find any customers under her name. I never received the text with info. I do get tons of emails texts and calls so it is easy to miss a few calls. i try to get back to everyone!

on 4/01 we received a 1 star review from ****************** saying we have not answered her calls or texts(never received text) and saying we ran off with her money. I have since tried reaching out to this perso with an apology and asking her to send me the address of home and customers name and still no reply. I also gave them my wifes number (************) to call so we didnt miss their call.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Sincerely,

    *************************

i or my daughter have not had any contact or missed calls from *********

my cell number is ************.  My home is ************

my daughter ******* has sent these screen shots with the dates of continuing to get a response.  The number is correct as this is the number that *** actually answered the phone and told her to sent the info in text form as he was apparently driving. ***** number shows in the last screen shot at the top of the page.  Same number she called and the message says Warrior roofing and to leave a message.

I want a refund of my ******* as I do not feel confident that *** will fix the problem in an honest manner since all of his response is untrue.

    Business Response

Up until recently, I didn't know who Melissas mother was. I missed her calls a couple of times and listened to her voice mail but i was busy at the time and forgot to follow up. for that i do take responsibility. The one time i got to answer her call, she said it was not her home i did a repair on but her mothers. I didn't know what repair she was talking about so i asked her to please send a txt or an email with the next information; The name of the costumer and the address to the home where the repair was made. I needed this information to know who the costumer was and what repair was made, then i would know how to move forward with that information. It wasn't until their initial claim with the BBB that i learned customers name and address. We have reviewed and looked through our repairs and now know who her mother is and where we did the repair. When we first got the leak call, prior to all of this. The home owner said she had a leak on one of her dormers and was coming in her bedroom wall for a while. She expressed that she had repairs done for that same leak once or twice before. We asked to go in the attic to try to trace the leak if we saw water marks or stains. She wasn't comfortable with us walking on the attic, but she let us borrow a flashlight to to look but only look from the ladder. We couldn't see much from that position, so we went on the roof to inspect the area. Right away we saw there had been previous attempts or an attempt to repair that area. As you can see in the attached pictures; there was step wall flashings attached to the roof with some type of caulking. The step flashings did not go under the shingles nor did they go under the siding like they are suppose too. There was what appeared to be roofing cement smeared below the valley metal flashing, right where the gutter started. I wouldn't consider that a proper repair. All of this information was communicated to client. As you can see from the photos, once we removed the flashings, shingles and felt. The roof deck (plywood) on the dormer eve had water stains, indicating there was a leak there and had been getting wet for some time. There was current water stains at the end of the valley and on the wall where the step flashings were. We installed new step flashings going under the shingles and siding going all the way up to where the eve and valley meet. I mentioned to customer that i believed her roof had reached its lifespan and needed to be replaced but she said she was just wanting to get a repair and would look into getting it replaced in the near future. on December 3rd I Installed Ice and water shield, Valley metal, felt, new shingles and ridge cap. The repair was done correctly 4 months ago not 2. We do not offer any refunds or warranty on roofs in that condition where the chances of new leaks are too high. I believe that if she is experiencing another leak it is because her roof needs replacing. It is also possible that leak was not coming from the dormer, could be an issue coming from window or siding and not due to my workmanship. Id be more than happy to go check out the work I did and if there is anything wrong with my workmanship I'm willing to fix it at no additional cost.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not appreciate this company and how they have responded dishonestly and would not trust them to do any repairs.  The roof is only 14 years old.  He never called my daughter, she actually is the one that called him and he answered and as I have already said, he asked her to send the house address and name of where the repairs were done.  She did that immediately after hanging up and ****, ghosted her and also never called her back when she left a message at his business number the day before she finally felt the only option was to file a complaint.

Terrible business practices.  No I do not want them to look at their work.  As I feel they will just deny that they did anything wrong.  I will look for another roofing company.  Thanks for doing nothing with my money.  Warrior roofing needs to figure out a better system in responding to customers and how they handle their overall business.

    Sincerely,

    *************************
