I am a renter with Von Klein Property Management and one of their agents entered my unit without proper posting of intent to enter. On December 11th, 2024 I sent them an email in regards to this issue, here is an excerpt: Unfortunately, the notice of intent to enter that was provided did not specify a date or time range for when maintenance would be returning to complete their work. This led to our unit being entered unlawfully around 1:00pm yesterday on Tuesday, December 10th 2024. When the worker knocked on our front door, my partner slept through the sound and when he awoke, the worker had let himself into our apartment without him ********** is required by ********** to provide a posted and emailed notice of intent enter detailing each entry, or to at least receive permission to enter from the tenant, and neither of these things were done in this case. For this reason, I am requesting the equivalent of one months rent ($1,095.00) from Von Klein Property Management to amend this invasion of privacy and violation of ORS 90.322(8).To this day I have not received any response from the company or any rent credit that I believe is owed to me.

      Date: 03/08/2023

The tenants renting the unit at ************* never turned in a 30 day notice to vacate or turn in keys. There were a few months that rent was not paid but this was during covid rent restrictions on evictions, so we were not able to issue any nonpayment of rent. After making a maintenance check on a beeping smoke alarm on October 4th, we found the unit abandoned. After making contact about final accounting for the unit, they gave a forwarding address but did not mention anything about when they moved out.
