I FOUND THIS ******************** STEWART AND HIS COMPANY STEWART ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION ON *********** I ASKED FOR A BID TO BUILD A DECK, AWNING AND INSTALL PAVERS IN MY SIDE YARD. HE PROVIDED ME WITH A BID THAT WASN'T WHAT I WAS WILLING TO PAY. SO I ASKED HIM TO DO THE PAVERS ONLY AND HE AGREED TO DO THE WORK. HIS PRESENCES IS VERY INTIMIDATING AND SO AFTER HE FINISHED THE POOR INSTALL I PAID HIM. I WAS AFRAID TO ASK HIM TO FIX THE UNEVEN AND POORLY INSTALLED PAVERS AS HE WAS VERY AGRESSIVE THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. THEN THIS MORNING I GET A VULGAR, DISRESPECTFULL EMAIL FROM HIM. AFTER RESPONDING *************** HE THREATEN ME AND MY FAMILY WITH VIOLENCE. I TRIED TO LOOK UP HIS COMPANY WITH THE ******************* AND WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE HIM IN THEIR DATA BASE, WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE HE IS UNLICENSED NOW AND WHEN HE SOLICTED MY BUSINESS.I WANT HIM TO HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY FIX THE INSTALLATION AT HIS EXPENSE AND NOT HAVE ANY FURTHER CONTACT WITH HIM. WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS IN THIS SITUATION?HE DID THIS WORK IN MAY OF 2022 AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY FURTHER CONTACT WITH HIM SINCE, SO I DO NOT KNOW WHY HE WOULD OUT OF THE BLUE START EMAILING ME TODAY. I AM FEARFUL FOR THE SAFETY OF MYSELF, MY FAMILY AND MY PROPERTY.

To Whom It May ****************** are in receipt of your letter dated Monday, December 5, 2022, and have reviewed the complaint submitted by **************************

************** is correct in stating that he contacted us via a Cragslist ad and solicited a bid to replace his deck and construct an awning, which we provided. ************** proceeded to haggle and request multiple re-pricings. After lying repeatedly about his available budget and monies he supposedly already committed to other contractors, he begged for us to remove his f**** and urine laden outdoor carpet (he has 2 Great Danes improperly cooped up in an inadequate space) and replace with pavers. We repeatedly informed ************** that pavers are not our main business and were bid as a courtesy in conduction with his original request to replace his deck and construct a new awning (our primary business). We invited ************** to accept the alternate bids he had received, which he repeatedly declined to do.

************** caused infinite delays and problems for the job with his poor communication and incessant attempts to defraud us of monies rightly due.

Against our better judgement, we agreed to perform the work for him and provided an excellent product in an extremely timely fashion: we started the project on 6/21/22 and completed in full 6/22/22.

Please see full compliments of emails, text messages, and images of work prior and subsequent to completion.
