I have looked for this person by name, phone number and email and we do not have a tenant by this name in our system. There is no property listed in the complaint. However, by looking at the address the complainant put in, it appears that they live in ********. We do not operate in any states other than ****** and ** **********. Legacy Rental Properties, first at ******************* and now at ****************************************************************, has been a nightmare. At ************, I endured violence, drug activity, frequent police presence, overdoses, and a mouse infestation. My electricity was cut off for nearly two months due to an outstanding property balance, yet I was still forced to pay rent without power.After moving to ******************************************** initially improved, but once management changed, I faced new issues. Despite paying rent multiple times a month to stay ahead, ** repeatedly told I still owe money. Electrical issues and a termite infestation remain unresolved. After I raised these concerns and mentioned legal action, I received a notice to quit, with a Legal Termination of Contract (LTC) likely to follow.Ive documented everything, including text messages and video evidence of unsafe conditions, such as naked individuals in the halls and tenant misconduct that management ignored. This is my last attempt to resolve these issues. I demand a full refund of my rent payments, my security deposit, and for someone to locate where my money went and return it immediately. I'm not the only tenant dealing with these problems, and this situation is unacceptable.Business Response

I responded to an apt. Rental ad thru Trulia or Zumper & set up a viewing on August 12th for an apt. That was available now. When my ************ arrived we noticed it was not the complex from the ad. However it had an attached ********** loved that about it. I was willing to do the stairs in a townhouse just to have a garage. It had new paint but still needed the floors done. They sent ******** filled out the background check for the address I viewed & was told nobody had applied for yet. Also told more ****. Available in 30 days. I told them I need to move now, out of time. August 15th received a text that I was approved. I added my adult daughters info but non financial person. She was approved. They emailed the lease. Didn't find mine but filled out daughters & submitted. Eventually mine was submitted. It all took a week. I was informed of next steps. Renters ins. & PGE start up. I called PGE & was told someone else already started service at that address. I text the company about it. Their response was, "your address is ****** ***." I replied "not the one I viewed?" Their response was, "correct" but it is right next door, exactly the same layout. I was originally scheduled to move in on Aug. 30th. They tried to push it out to Sept. 3rd. I was already past vacate date so they agreed to end of day on Fri. Aug. 30th. On that day my ************ show up at the agreed upon time of 1:30 pm. The garage door was open & the leasing manager was in the kitchen. We chatted, I signed papers except the one about the condition of unit at move in. I had 5 days to complete it. I gave a cashiers check for ******* & she left. & my nightmare begins. It had not even been cleaned. I emailed her over 100 photos by 3pm of just bottom floors damage & filth. She replied maintenance will be out after the holiday weekend. 4 nights. There was still 2 hours till they closed but she refused to answer any more texts. We closed the garage, there was no handle on it. Over 1/2 story left. HelpBusiness Response

We have reviewed the complaint and would like to clarify a few details regarding the tenant's experience.
The tenant initially scheduled a viewing through a Zillow advertisement, which accurately reflected the townhouse's features and photos.During the visit, she and her daughter expressed excitement about the property,noting the advantages of a townhouse, such as the lack of upstairs neighbors,the attached garage, the in-unit washer and dryer, and a fenced backyard for her dog. The tenant also commented positively on the layout, specifically appreciating that the bedrooms were situated on opposite sides of the hall. At the end of the tour, we informed her that multiple units with similar layouts and garages were available, with some pending applications. When the tenant arrived with her daughter on move-in day, they viewed a unit with upgraded features, including luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the lower level instead of carpet, a new washer and dryer, and a larger backyard with additional trees for shade. Both the tenant and her daughter appeared pleased as they explored the unit, and the leasing agent provided instructions for using the Rently lock system and discussed noting any concerns on the move-in condition report.
The tenant met with our leasing agent on 8/30/24 at 1:30 PM,signed the necessary paperwork, and retained the move-in condition report,which she planned to complete over the weekend. Shortly after the agent departed, the tenant began texting about minor issues in the unit, which were addressed promptly with an offer to have maintenance service them. The tenant also sought further clarification on operating the digital lock, and our leasing agent provided the necessary guidance. On 8/31/24, the tenant submitted a move-out notice indicating that she had vacated the unit. As this was a weekend, we received the notice on the next business day, 9/3/24. Upon contacting the tenant, she clarified that she had not moved out and was awaiting a call from the leasing agent. Our leasing agent followed up on the same day regarding her inquiry about transferring to another property and explained that such transfers were not an option. On 9/27/24, I contacted the tenant to confirm whether she had vacated the property, as the electricity had been disconnected. She responded, stating that she had never moved in, despite her previous statements to the contrary. I asked if she would formally return possession of the unit to allow us to process the move-out, but the tenant repeatedly refused, only inquiring about the status of her deposit.
Currently, an eviction case for non-payment of rent is pending, with a court date scheduled for 10/31/24.Initial Complaint

I am a tenant leaving legacy mgmt. I am requesting they make reasonable accommodations for completing my move out inspection to avoid any surprise charges/fees etc after my official move out. I regret to say that my experience with this apartment complex has been highly unsatisfactory. Upon moving in on October 2nd, 2023, I was appalled by the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom still had hair from the previous tenant, the kitchen cupboards were covered in grime, & the vinyl floor was installed so poorly that theres spaces between boards and it is already peeling. The most concerning issue was the blatant negligence in addressing mold problems, as they simply painted over it and theres paint drippings all over the floor, faucets, bathtub, toilet, cabinets, and radiant heaters that are *****.The exterior of the complex is constantly marred by litter, discarded clothing, toys, & even children throwing rocks. The stairwells are disgusting and kids constantly running up and down them. To exacerbate matters, the management's customer service is woefully inadequate. Vehicles in the parking lot are frequently vandalized, and the paper-thin walls and floors mean that I am constantly subjected to the noise from my neighbors. The pervasive smell of marijuana smoke is both bothersome & concerning.Furthermore, the presence of old phone box wires dangling from the building and painted-over graffiti only adds to the overall sense of neglect and disregard for the residents' quality of life. In light of these numerous issues and the lack of timely, effective responses from management, I cannot recommend this apartment complex to anyone seeking a peaceful and clean living environment. The only positive thing I can say is that the maintenance crew are good people but the office staff ***** and should be retrained to give proper customer service.Additionally, I've been trying to get the property management company to come fix the mold and leaky ceiling in both bedrooms, but nothing has been done about it. Ive been trying to get this issue fixed since November 2023, & they keep pushing my maintenance requests as completed even though nothing has been done to fix it.Initial Complaint

On December 2022 I signed a year lease agreement to live at ******** Apartments. In that year they had multiple shootings and arrest including standoff type with SWAT team truck on the lawn and everything. I submitted a 30 day notice to move November 2023 my intentions of moving out on the end of December 2023 and not extending my lease. I was completely moved out and moved out cleaning done by end of December *************************************************************** the far out office until the 5th of January 2024 since it was New years day no one was working or able to meet me. I was told that was fine. I expecting my deposit find a month later 2/1/24 I not only didn't get a deposit I also was billed for additional details unclear. Hello to whom it may concern,
Not sure if we can post this info in response to this previous tenants complaint or not so I am submitting it here for review. This tenant has been an issue and served with multiple non payment notices throughout the tenancy. The tenant left the unit dirty and damaged. We have a move in and a move out inspection with photos to prove the condition of the unit at both times. This former resident is upset about not getting the deposit returned and is complaining to everyone. Would you like to me post this response or do you want to mediate? Legacy Property management has yet to justify these unfair charges which includes a late fee as no one from their office worked on January 1st to come collect the keys. They have yet to reverse the fraudulent charges and have yet to issue me my moving deposit.

We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised by *********************************** regarding his tenancy and the subsequent handling of his security deposit and move-out process at Fircrest Apartments.********************** signed a year-long lease in December 2022 and has noted that during his tenancy, there were multiple public safety incidents at the property. We understand that such experiences can be unsettling and sincerely regret any distress caused. Please be assured that the safety and well-being of our tenants are paramount, and we strive to work closely with local law enforcement to address and mitigate such incidents promptly.
Regarding the end of ************************** lease, we acknowledge his efforts to vacate the apartment by the end of December 2023, as per his notice. We understand there was a delay in key return due to the holiday period, and our staff communicated to ********************** that this delay was acceptable under the circumstances.
The security deposit of $1,475 was fully utilized towards necessary repairs and cleaning exceeding normal wear and tear, as the unit was newly updated prior to his move-in and the condition upon departure did not reflect normal usage. The additional charge of $500, which ********************** references, stems from these damages and the prorated rent for the days in January until the keys were returned.
We provided ********************** with an itemized statement detailing these charges, but it appears there may have been a misunderstanding or lack of clarity in the communications regarding these details. We are committed to ensuring transparency and understanding in all tenant interactions.

I have complained several times to my management company reagrding our neighbor dealing and selling drugs out of his home. Drug use on property provided pictures and video proff and I have received a call back or any response in more than a month. I call the office it goes to voicemail all the time. My apartment complex is ************* apartment managed by Legacy Property Management when they took over the management for the apartment complex I'm standing beginning of the year I then signed a new lease upon request the new lease they gave me and that I signed and they signed they forgot to put a late fee on there as of April of this year they have been charging me late fees but my lease says no late fees I've talked to them several times about this and they keep putting me off but keep charging me late feesBusiness Response
