I have received multiple unauthorized charges to my credit card for a service from Aspen Trading Group which has been discontinued by the company and this appears to be an annual charge for the discontinued service. Aspen Trading has refund one of the charges (2022), hasnt yet refunded one of the charge (2023), and is currently trying to charge my Credit card (today). To provide some history to what occurred, below is a brief timeline to what led up and I believe caused the charge:1.October 2021 - I signed up for an annual subscription to the new *********************************** for a price of $250.00 2.March 2022 - the service was sunsetted by the company 3.October 7, 2022 - I received a recurring charge for $250.00, at the one year point of initially signing up for the ***. Aspen Trading Group confirmed that that was a recurring charge to the sunsetted service, and the charge was reversed by the company. 4.October 7, 2023 - I received the same recurring charge in the amount of $250.5.February 2024 - I reached out to Aspen Trading Group several times over the past month, I tried to schedule a meeting as well with the company to discuss this issue. I received one response from ******************************************************** that the charge would be refunded within a month, but never received the refund and all subsequent emails asking for an update didnt received a response.6.October 7, 2024 Aspen Trading Group has tried to charge my credit card for $250 at least three times over the past week. I have Aspen Trading Group blocked with my credit card so that I cannot be billed. I am still looking for Aspen Trading Group to make right of this charge on 10/7/23 and to disable my account so future charges dont occur. It is clear that they have me set up for a yearly charge when the service was discontinued over 2 years ago and repeated emails to them have not resolved the issue.

    1. In Sept 2021, I emailed Aspen Trading Group asking about their Trading View Indicator. On Sept 20, They responded back saying the product is available for a one-time fee of $450. Email attached from [email protected]. On 27th Sept 2021, they sent me a Stripe payment link which details the terms which only mentions $450 to purchase the product. There is no mention of Annual contract or Auto renewal. Email attached which has the link.3. On Oct 13th 2021, I made the purchase using the link i got from Aspen Trading using my Discover Credit Card.4. On 17th Oct 2022, I emailed Aspen saying the product has stopped working. They responded back saying my annual contract has expired and that I should make a payment of $595 to renew my license. They directed me to their website where the payment form mention annual fee and auto renewal terms. I responded back to Aspen saying the original terms as per Sept-Oct 2021 email from Aspen mentioned its a one-time fee to purchase. Aspen responded saying they are sorry that i was given wrong information and they cannot agree to extend my license without further payments. ( Email attached).5. I mentioned to Aspen this is fraud since they sold a product by misrepresentation. They came to me saying they are willing to compromise and offer me an additional year of license. ( Email attached).6. I refused to accept their compromise since as per the original purchase terms, I own the product. Either they should honor the original terms or refund back the money i originally paid. They refused to refund.
