The company replaced my MacBook screen. About 30 days later the screen started showing a line down it. I contacted the company and they asked if I dropped it, I stated I did not drop it. When I brought in the MacBook for the company to look at, I was told it must be from putting pressure on the screen which I stated I did not do. The company then said they can replace the screen again for a slight discount.I paid $574 for a new screen for this MacBook to use at school. I am now being told by the company to put more money into fixing the screen.

Customer dropped off computer January 28th, 2025. Cx was advised his computer display was damaged and needed to be replaced on January 29th, 2025. Customer approved display replacement on February 19, 2025. Display replacement was completed on February 24th, 2025. Customer picked up the computer on February 25th, 2025. The Display was in good working condition. No issues. Customer brought computer back the second week of May, 2025. The computer had lines on the display. The lines on the display could be pressed on and they would moved and change color. This is called a pressing issue. This can be caused by several different things. It could be software, loose connections or physical damage to the display. I asked the customer to log into his computer with his administrative password so we could further diagnose what caused the pressing issue, the customer could not log in because he did not know his password. The customer advised he would figure out the password and come back with the computer for further diagnosis. The customer was informed our warranty on display replacements is 30 days. Even though the customer brought the computer back well over 30 days later, approximately, two and a half months later, we advised him that if the display was determined to be damaged, we would replace the display again for only the cost of labor. We would not charge him for another display. The display cost is $350. The labor cost is $224. The customer was not upset or argumentative. The customer left and said he would come back once he figured out his password for further diagnosis. This was the last we had heard from the customer.

Thank your time and attention to this matter. Please feel free reach back out if any further action or information is needed.
