Our 48" refrigerator died so in the crazy supply chain challenged times we had to make numerous calls to appliance dealers to see what might have something available as 48" wide is hard to find in stock anywhere. B&R had a 42" wide refurbished refrigerator advertised. We called to confirmed that it was still available as we lived out of state from their location. We decided to make the drive to *********, ****** to purchase this unit. Once my fianc arrived, he inspected the unit in the store and decided to make the purchase. All the paperwork was processed, then the massive unit was moved out into the parking lot to load into the trailer we brought down. Upon further inspection out in the daylight, my fianc (in his opinion) determined that this refrigerator was not in as good of condition as originally advertised. At this point, he decided against the purchase and asked if B&R would process the credit. *****************, the co-owner was not happy with this decision as this unit is a beast to move. My fiance offered to help move back into the store and/or pay them for their time, but **** refused and said that he would not process the credit/refund that we had to take it up with our credit card company. We did take if up with our credit card company and they denied the claim because B&R stated in the investigation that we did take the refrigerator. The refrigerator is no longer showing on their website. All we are asking is for them to do the right thing and process the credit. We have made numerous attempts to contact B&R to process credit, left numerous message with no calls back. We are told that **** is the only one that can help us. The invoice # is *****, dated 8/14/22 in the amount of $3999.00. We appreciate any help/support in closing out this issue.
