    May 29th started. quote was for $10000 we were never given a contract. amount of work completed was about $7000. $500 was for debris removal that was never removed from property just moved to edge of road for the county to deal with. He came to speak to me about the issue but then said he would only speak to my son as in the man. ****** review has also been completed,

    We did have a contract and insurance company took a copy of contract.  Because of storm damage all debris is being removed by the city. It was agreed all debris would be hauled to the road for city to take. Rootball was never included in the price of service. Our tree service has been in existence 29 years, insured and bonded with many returning customers. Our price during the Claremore tornados was comparable and even lower than some tree services after storms hit. A customer gave 4000 more than we quoted him in the Claremore cleanup. 

    We were working with her son and never talked to her about the job.

    I am rejecting this response because: He states we had a contract which we did not, the contract he states he gave to my insurance was just a scribbled invoice that she took but questioned if it was even valid. I have a text from him stating that he does not use contracts and has never used a contract in 29 yrs. He did not seem to understand my son is a truckdriver so he seldom accepts calls, had he been able to get thru to my son he would have been told I would be handling it. The big thing was him showing up was a surprise to everyone as he took it that being told it needed to be done asap after we talked to our insurance. By the time I could get ahold of my son he had already started the job even before the adjustor had been there only for my son to tell me he never told him he had the job. 20 20 hindsight when I got that information I should have paid him $500 and fired him, saved myself a huge headache. Ultimately I did send a check for $8500 that he accepted and cashed, it was more than I (and my insurance for comparable jobs) felt he should have been paid for an incomplete job.

    I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. He will never admit his business practices need immense improvement but he has accepted and cashed a lesser amount in payment. It is still more than what others in the disaster were charging for a lot bigger jobs but it is to the point he is not worth fighting with.
