      Got quoted for ~$300. Upon arrival they said the wrong springs were installed for the specific door, so I needed to replace the other perfectly good spring to upgrade to the correct spring (maybe true maybe not and they did not give me the good spring to keep after the job). Ended up paying ~$600 for 30 min of springs being changed out. Really concerned if they up sold me or I actually needed to upgrade. The other HUGE issue is they plastered their companies name all over my garage with stickers. This is my house and you did not even ask if you could do this. We get enough ads these days without people like this. I will 100% never be calling this company again and I will advise everyone I know to stay away from them. It took me an hour to get the large sticker off of my garage door with goo gone because it would not come off. They also placed a sticker next to my garage door buttons. AGAIN WITHOUT ASKING ME. So I over paid and got unwarranted ads placed on my property. I hired you to fix the door, not put stickers where you weren't allowed to.

      I had Discount Garage Door come out to replace a Broken spring. I was wanting to replace both springs since the tech was replacing the broken spring with a bigger one. I asked the tech how much it was to replace the other one and he told me it was a service call per spring plus the price of a spring. So I said let me understand this I have to pay 2 service call fees plus the price of 2 springs and he said yes. So I did 1 spring. I think the guy just told me that because he wanted to go home early or something. He knew if I just did one that I would be calling back soon to do the one since I had 1 big spring and 1 smaller spring. I should have called the office as soon as it happened to ask but I got busy and forgot. Of course 1 month and half later the other one broke. As I knew it would eventually since the other spring was bigger. So I called them back and explained what happened and of course as I thought it was just 1 service call fee plus how many springs you need. The woman I was talking to told me that the tech had been there a long time and there was no way he would have said that and that I must have misunderstood him. I completely understand she would of thought that I misunderstood him but when I double checked with the tech when he was here and he confirmed what I heard. She did not try to rectify this an any way at all. If she would of given me half off of the service call I would of had them come out and fix it again but she didnt offer anything to fix the problem. Beware people cause it does not seem they care!

      10 years of home maintenance has helped me weed out people who are not professionals. This company has always been there when I needed them. I personally have been using them for past 8 years with over 40 personal experiences and/or references to them.
