      In January I had my truck oil changed at this location. The truck began leaking oil. It is a truck that is rarely driven. In August my husband got around to taking it to the location to have it looked at. While he was on his way to the location, the engine locked up and stalled him in the middle of a busy highway. We had the vehicle towed to *** ****** **** in Shawnee. We were told he needed a new engine block, costing $13,000. *** ****** **** was told to check the oil situation to make sure that was not the reasoning behind the engine locking up. Upon investigation, *** ****** found that was the reasoning, took photos and sent them to us. The reasoning was due to a plug not being put on properly during the oil change. I immediately emailed the establishment and was told that they have a policy of having to notify them within 30 days. That was impossible due to the truck rarely being driven. I have the receipt where it does NOT state any of that. I then went to the establishment and took a video of the inside where there are no policies on the wall whatsoever. I asked an employee about the policy and he didn’t know what I was talking about. I tried to settle this issue without having to file complaints and go to court but the owner is refusing to cooperate. I just want this filed on their insurance so they can pay for a new engine.
