I bought a 2008 ******* navigator on February the 22nd 2023 everything was fine with the car aside from a few cosmetic issues that I did address during the test drive but they were not a deal breaker. Within the first couple weeks the ** went out on the car I did have a mechanic look at it not one of their mechanics one of my own where he said that there was some wiring issues so I told him that I would definitely be back to get those fixed. On June 24th 2023 I spoke to ****** at the front desk explaining to her that there was a situation where my Bank account was compromised but I would definitely be in on July 7th to make two car payments. I've also addressed to the company numerous of times that they have my paydays wrong and see what all we needed to do to get that corrected because my due dates are a week and two days prior to my payday. I wake up the morning of July 4th to a missed call and a text message saying that my car has been repoed after the payment arrangement has been made upon calling the dealership they were not willing to change my pay dates in the system I have called two days in a row and every single time I get told that they don't know how much it's going to be to get the car back or if I can even get the car back this is the first issue that we've had and nobody knows who report the car or where it's at

Our response was over the **** Character limit, I have attached our response above in PDF form above.

*************** Purchased her 2008 ******* Navigator on February 22nd of 2023, At the time of sale *************** signed and dated a contract agreeing that her payments would be due every other wednesday and also stating she had 10 days to provide us full coverage insurance since she would be financing the vehicle from us. Since her purchase she would call to let us know if she would need to make an arrangement to pay the car note. *************** had fallen two payments behind, due on June 7th and June 14th. When called to be reminded about her payments due she simply made an arrangement but, once the arrangement date came due she stated she lost her card but assured us she had applied for a new card and would call back to pay her car payment the following week. We have sent multiple notices to remind her about her payments and what would happen if they go unpaid. The vehicle was repossessed on July 4th. After the vehicle was repossessed she called our office, blaming us, that it must be an employees mistake, stating it is our fault she won't be able to make it into work, that the money she did have was going to go towards her tag and that she was going to pay the upcoming week. When mentioned to *************** that she needs to have full coverage insurance on the vehicle she stated ******** Law will not put full coverage insurance on a 2008 vehicle due to its age, which is in fact not true. ************** law requires you to transfer the title and get the vehicle tagged within 30 days. And after three months, the title is not transferred, the paper tag is still on the vehicle, there is no full coverage insurance on the vehicle, and has not made one arrangement to even try to get her payment dates changed. If *************** complied with our terms and conditions, this would not have happened. If *************** wants the vehicle back, we would be more than willing to give the vehicle back as long as she gets Full coverage insurance,Transfers her title, Gets the vehicle Tagged and pays up to date on her account with us.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the salesman said every other Friday which would have been my pay periods nobody said anything about full coverage insurance again I asked the sales man and the front desk person if it needed to be full coverage insurance as I got insurance before I ever left the dealership as far as the payments if they were to be due on the 7th and 14th of June then that's not every two weeks and that is a contradiction to what the car dealership stated and as far as the arrangement date was for July 7th I spoke to ****** on June 24th and explained to her someone had taken money from my account and so I was having to deal with the bank on that situation. If that isn't what she put in the notes that's a lack of communication on their part I also had spoke to ***** the following week after I had spoke to ****** so there was definitely communication on my end not my problem of they don't communicate on their end

    Sincerely,

ON MARCH 7 I WENT TO THIS AUTO PLACE LOOKING FOR A VEHICLE TO USE VEHICLE PAYING IN CASH. I TOLD THE SALESMAN HIS NAME IS TRAVIS THAT I AM A SINGLE MOM. JUST LOOKING FOR A CAR THAT WILL GET ME FROM ADA BE A RELIABLE CAR. I'M ALSO A VETERAN AND I DIDN'T WANT TO GET INTO ANY PAYMENTS. I WAS PAYING IN CASH. I ASK HIM ABOUT SOME CARS. HE PUT A TOLD ME ABOUT THIS ONE THAT I HAD SEEN ONLINE TOO. I DROVE IT AROUND WHEN I DROVE IT AROUND THE BLOCK, A DROVE, YOU KNOW FINE IT WASN'T MAKING ANY NOISES OR SHAKING OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT AFTER TO NOT EVEN THREE WEEKS OF HAVING THIS CAR THE TRANSMISSION WITH ME WENT OUT, WHICH I KNEW THEY KNEW ABOUT THAT BEFORE THEY SOLD ME THE CAR, I WENT BACK TO THEM AND IT TOOK THEM A WEEKS TO TELL ME THAT THEY WOULD ONLY GIVE ME $500 AS A TRADE-IN FOR THE VEHICLE THAT THEY CHARGE ME $4300 FOR AND I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENTS ON ANOTHER CAR THAT WAS A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ONE THAT THEY SOLD ME. THEY TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE I SIGNED A SOLD AS IS FORM AND I DIDN'T GET SOMEBODY TO LOOK AT THE CAR. THAT IS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. I WANT MY MONEY BACK I DON'T WANT A NEW CAR FROM THEM. THEY SCREWED ME OVER AND THEN DIDN'T TRY TO MAKE IT RIGHT

******************* came in and asked for the 2007 ****** Altima listed at $4,000 and wanted to test drive. She had a long test dive on the streets and highway. We explain to ******************* she had option to have it inspected prior to purchasing. ******************* liked the vehicle and had no concerns so that is why she decide to purchase said vehicle. She agreed and understood that the vehicle was sold As is with all the Fault and that any maintenance that needed to be done in the future she would have to cover as it is a used car. She understood and sighed all documents stated it was as is. The vehicle had no transmission or engine issues when ******************* purchased the vehicle which is another reason she purchased it.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
There wasnt a long test drive, I never got on the highway. I literally went down the block. I also had a Hispanic gentleman that rode with me as well.
I was never informed of an option to get the car inspected. Combined with the fact I had the car for only 2 - 3 weeks before the problem with the transmission began.
I also went back to the dealership on April 1st and ****** sat me in the office and said he wanted to make it right and understood that I was a single working mom, and a veteran and gave me an option to either return the car and only get $500 back or to trade it back in and use it as a $500 down payment for another one of their cars.
I am not the only customer that had issues with this company. On 05/17/23 a customer wrote that the car that she wanted to purchase was sold after the purchasing agreement they sent to her, and she had all the paperwork from the bank. Another customer on 04/24/23 test drove the car took it home and then went to a dealership to have car inspected and had over $6500 worth of work to be fixed on the car. Another customer 03/24/23 came to ************************** to purchase car not even a week after purchase must spend $3000 worth of mechanical repairs. These are all public reviews.

This is just showing how crooked and dishonest this company is.

What I would like to happen is either my money back or they pay me back for the money I put into this car to get it fixed to be in drivable condition.
    Sincerely,

    Passion *******

I purchased a 2009 mini ****** s for **** cash and it has been in and out of the shop 3 times and the problems started 1 week after purchase. It broke down again on April 1st and it has jumped time and blown the motor. It is going to cost more than I paid for it to fix it. The estimate I was given for repair is $16,000. I have spoken to dealer one multiple times and they say they are not liable and not willing to help. I was originally told by dealer ones salesman **** that they would take the car back and give me something of equal value if I kept having problems, now that the time has come he is no longer willing to do that. I have been lied to every step of the way with this car. I am at a loss at this point and don't know what to do, I need help and I don't know who to turn to. My original purchase date was February 9th 2023.Dealer one did send the car to ***************** 1 week after purchase but they are refusing to give me any documentation on any repairs they did.

****************** purchased the 2009 Mini ****** on February 9, 2023 for $9,200. She had option to test drive as well as have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic of her choosing. ****************** looked and test drove sever other vehicles but decided on the 2009 Mini ******. ****************** had the option to have the vehicle inspected before purchasing. She agreed and signed all documents stating that the vehicle was sold as is with all the fault. The vehicle has no issue at the time of purchase which is why she decided to purchase it. On April 7th she called our office and stated she was going to have it inspected at a Mini ****** certified mechanic because, she was concerned that said shops she took it to for maintenance had not put the vehicle back together properly, and wanted to know what work we had done to the vehicle. She called back stating her timing jumped and the vehicle needs an engine. We informed her that she purchased the vehicle as is without dealer warranty, however we offered to help her find a engine at our discounted dealer price and refer her to one of the independent shops we work with to get our dealer labor rate. We have searched and found several used engines ranging from $2,200 to $3,200 depending on milage plus the labor. We are still willing to offer to find her and engine at our discounted dealer price and discounted labor rate.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:  You know as well as I do that after 1 week the car was broke down, your mechanic worked on it. I continued having trouble with it after I picked it up from your mechanic. **** told me that if I continued having trouble then we could trade the mini ****** back in for something of equal value. When I expressed the desire to trade it in I was told that the only thing that dealer one was willing to do was sell me another car. So **** lied to me. The bottom line is if I pay $9000.00 for a car I shouldn't have to pay to have the motor replaced a month and a half later especially when the problems started 4 days after purchase. Dealer one is aware that they what they are doing is wrong otherwise the secretary wouldn't get on the phone and profusely apologize.

    Sincerely,

Mrs. ******** understood she has option to have the vehicle inspected ***** to purchasing. She agreed and signed all the documents stated that she was purchasing as is without dealer warranty. Mrs. ******** also stated that she had taken the vehicle to a mechanic of her choosing for regular maintenance and expressed she had concerns about the work they (her mechanic) had done to the vehicle. She asked about trade ins and we informed her that we did take trade ins but the vehicle had to be transferred into her name and they would have to appraise the vehicle value based on the condition. Even thou the vehicle was purchased as is with all the fault almost two months later we offered to help her and she refused the request.

I am rejecting this response because:

***************** is the first mechanic that worked on the car one week after I bought it, that is the mechanic that Dealer One sent me to. Yes I did decide to find a competent mechanic since your mechanic did not fix the car.  I was told that if I continued having problems that you would take the car back and give me something of equal value. But the last time I spoke to someone at your office I was told since the car wasn't running you wouldn't be able to take it back. I don't have any idea what you're talking about when you say you gave me the option to get it inspected, nobody ever offered that.

I was informed a car I was interested in had been checked by the dealer's mechanic and there was NO problems identified. The next day, I returned with my husband to check the car. The business owner, ***** ***** said the car was in the shop because "something was causing the battery to drain." He said his mechanic would look into it and "fix" it. If it was not fixable, he would NOT sell the car. He warned that other buyers expressed interest in the car and advised me to put down $300 to "hold" the car. I asked if I could have something in writing verifying if the car was not fixable, I would get my $300 back. He would not provide writing, but assured me his word was valid. I paid $300. Two days later I was told the problem had been "fixed" (He would NOT provide proof of repairs). I purchased the car for a total of $5200. Literally the SAME day on the way home, the check engine light came on. Two days later the car failed to start. ***** had me have the car TOWED to his mechanic at ***************. After two days, the mechanic claimed he couldn't find anything and states the car started for him after cleaning a "relay switch." My husband and I picked up the car. While there we noticed a sound coming from under the car as the mechanic backed the car out. Before we could inquire about the sound, the mechanic stated, "the noise you hear is more than likely the serpentine belt and ball bearings that will need repaired." This was not heard prior having the car dropped off. On the way home (not even 2 miles down the road), the car stalled twice, power steering went out, and a red light came on saying "alternator/battery visit workshop!" I sent ***** a video of what was going on with the car the SAME night. He did NOT reply; however, I could see my message had been read. I called the following Monday. ***** said the car was fine before we got it and he placed blame the tow company I used which was ridiculous! He was not willing to "fix" the car as promised. Battery issue? Refused to take car back. Was rude and accusatory. Fyi...attempted to attach video. It will not attach. I can send via email.

When customer purchased the vehicle there was no air bag light on that's why they purchased it. The vehicle has been previously inspected by another customers mechanic but at they time they did not have all the funds and their financing fell though so they could not purchase the vehicle. We encouraged the customer to have the vehicle inspected themselves if they had any type of concerns. When they customer called and informed us of the issue even thou it was sold as is, we asked them if they would like to take it to a shop we recommended but they did not respond.

On the 7-20-2022 Mr. ************** came to the dealership to purchase our 09 Honda&n*sp; Accord vin #***************** milage *******. He took the vehicle on a test drive with our sales assistant from **** NW 39th to Western and *ack. Once *ack he fully inspected the vehicle to make sure there was no leaks and that it wasn't over heating. He left the car running for another 30 minutes to make sure every thing was good after it has reached high running temperature. Everything worked perfectly. He told the sales rep that he trusted his opinion, that everything is good. *ut he still wanted to take it to a Mechanic. We told him to call and set up an appoint with the Mechanic of his choice and we would deliver the car for him. He left and called *ack and asked us to take the ***** Accord to the Mechanic on 23rd that he set up the appointment with. Our sales rep drove the car to the Mechanic and let the him look it over. After his mechanic looked it over he informed Mr. ********* that the vehicle had no major issues. There for Mr. ********* came *ack to sign the contract and AS IS form with all default. At that time he was short on the final *alance and made and arrangement to pay the remaining *alance on a date he agreed to. Once that date came around he did not come in to make the payment.
