    We were asked to provide a 2200$ deposit for our 2800$ a month rent, including utilities. The home is on the surface fine, but bad bones. Leaks when it rains, bad cooling, paint peels after a week of living there. We decided to move because of this. Because the landlord used cheap materials, and half baked renovations, the house was worse for wear when we moved out. This business kept 1200$ from us. No permanent damage was done other than the home being “”dirty” mind you there was no debris, just some mopping and baseboard cleaning needed to be done. They charged me 30$ apiece for lightbulbs, air filter, amongst other things. They are con artists and were not good about keeping their properties maintained, never knowing if I was contacted about entering for a/c issues, etc. we mentioned on filling out the move in paperwork the renovation needs, which was promptly discarded and we were charged for the work that needed to be done.

    I have been trying to cancel my membership with this company, however, it is hard to reach anybody about the issue. I would just like my membership canceled and the charges to stop.

    This property management company is now DBA **** ****** or something like that. The short story is they rented me an apartment with leaks, one in A/C closet and another causing mold to grow behind the walls all through the house, a flooding crawlspace with a clogged but still plugged in sump pump that was just on all the time burning up electricity, A/C vents that blew hot/cold air into the crawlspace, and a feral cat issue ( like lots of them, having kittens in my trailer or on my porch constantly because people would feed them).

    When I complained within the first two months of living there of all these things they would come up with lies and excuses about a water line blocking access (complete fabrication) and that a structural engineer was coming to take a look. Even claimed they sent someone, another lie, because access wasn't blocked in the first place. At the end of my lease they (without any proper notice, they sent me an email notifying me they weren't going to renew my lease, but I didn't see it until after I had moved out. Thankfully I had kind of expected that or it would have blindsided me as you are supposed to provide written, certified notification at least 30 days in advance. So I ended up not being completely out by the 1st and on the 3rd or 4th, still without a proper eviction notice or any communicaton other than "we're changing the locks" sent via text they did just that. Locked me out with some of my stuff still there (clearly packed and sitting there waiting to be taken with the last load of stuff I was coming back for). The next day I found most of my things smashed and thrown in the dumpster and anything of any value was stolen (window unit a/c, studio keyboard, my audio workstation, and various other things).
    They basically do nothing at all to maintain their properties. If you try to hold them accountable they just blow you off until your lease runs out. DONT RENT FROM THEM!
