On Feb 24 2021, Anyhour plumbers Rob and Pat fixed a leak in our yard about 10 yards from our water meter. Rob even admitted that when Pat used the backhoe he yanked the pipe up and mangled it and I saw the broken pipe. They replaced about 4 feet of pipe and it did not leak in that spot anymore. Paid $275 to find the leak. Another $900 to fix it. After they left I noticed our water meter hole was full of water. Figured it was just all the rain we had lately but still didn't seem right. Called Rob a few days later and told him something was wrong. He assured me it was just because the ground was saturated with moisture and it would completely dry up after a few months warm weather. I waited six month and it is still full of water. I called Anyhour Plumbing Sept 1st 2021 and put in a ticket. Rob called me Sept 2nd 2021 and I told him what was going on and that I think his employee yanked the pipe when he was digging and it caused the leak in the water meter hole. He raised his voice to me and said no and that I was just trying to get free service. I never said it had to be fixed for free. I just told him why I thought it was leaking and he took exception to that. I told him to stop yelling at me and that the water meter hole did not leak till the day they fixed that pipe. He proceeded to raise/yell his voice to me and said to go ahead and call Anyhour and log a complaint because it won't do me any good and if I know so much I should just fix it myself. When I tried to speak again, he just hung up on me. I called Anyhour to complain but I think he owns the company so he's right that complaining to them won't do me any good so that is why I am writing this review with BBB. We've used them before and everything was great. But Rob just lost his cool when I tried nicely to tell him that I think something they did caused another issue and him saying it would eventually dry up was false.

On 02/24/2021 I went out with my employee ****** to dig up a leaking water line. the ground was covered in water and mud. I did hit the water line in the process of digging the thin wall PVC pipe up. This would not have affected the line 30+ feet away. We repaired that area and there were no more leaks in this spot. The water meter was completely submerged in water at this time when we showed up to do the job. There had been an excessive amount of water that had leaked out at this time and no way to tell if the line had leaks in other areas due to how wet it was and this is also right after the deep freeze in the area. The customers meter does not work properly so we could not check the dial on it. I called and left a message for the customer on 09/03/2021 and he has not returned my phone call at this time. I've been in this trade for 25 years and would have been happy to go by and assess the problem and quote a solution.
