    I bought a gold coin from Apex, paid in full, and expected a smooth transaction. Instead, they made a mistake and accidentally refunded my money ,something they did. Rather than handling it professionally, they treated me like I was trying to steal from them.
    I was shocked by how they jumped to accusations instead of taking accountability for their error. There was no courtesy, no respect, just a cold and accusatory email demanding repayment — even though I had already paid for the item. This experience was insulting and stressful.
    If you're looking for a company that values its customers and takes responsibility for its own actions, look elsewhere. I will never buy from Apex again. Not because of the mistake, but because of how they treated me afterward.

    Gross misrepresentation of product versus what you receive in mail.What is in the image online is not what you will actually receive. You will not get any sympathy from their customer service.Flat out false advertising and when you calll them its just too bad and literally hang up on you Avoid APMEX unless you just like surprises versus what you are clearly shown as what you are ordering.Terrible company.Choose anywhere else besides APMEX to do business

    I have used APMEX for years. I trust them completely. Each order is exceptionally packaged, and arrives on time, and I am able to track each shipment. The communication is excellent. I have even sold some back at various times, the price is very fair, and it is a pleasure to do business with them.

    It seems that there is an extreme disconnect in online reviews and BBB rating for this company. BBB should be looking at this. If you experience any type of issue with wrong product or incorrect charges this company is horrible to deal with and clearly do not care about how they are treating their customers. I placed an order and cancelled via their customer service within about 30 minutes to order a different brand all fees were waived according to their CSR. They put through the original charge anyway. 12 days later I reported it to my bank and reached out to Apmex their next available business day. They were argumentative instead of taking responsibility and offering to fix their error immediately. I also had two backorders that they placed on hold as a result. Unbelievable! Someone needs to tell these people you cannot charge people for goods and services you are not going to provide. As a result, my bank is handling a dispute and I have filed a complaint with the ************************. Three transactions for thousands of dollars have been placed with no intent of shipping product. Again, go look at Truspilot their reviews are horrible and it is clear the owner of this business needs to make changes in management before they get into serious legal trouble.

The refund was already in process when the chargeback was requested. Our company takes chargebacks seriously, as they indicate a breakdown in communication or trust. When a chargeback is initiated, it flags the account for potential risk. As part of our standard risk management procedures, we may cancel any outstanding or future orders associated with that account to protect both the customer and the company.

    They insisted that using their expensive shipping was the 100% safest guaranteed method of shipment. *** lost my package, their Package Search is Complete. And now I'm being told my digital package drop off receipt should have been printed out! It was a text message receipt! Now I'm out $1,800, this company is scum.

    Wish I had researched this company a bit further and read the multitude of complaints. Unfortunately I assumed the BBB A+ indicated they were reputable. We have purchased over $125K from APMEX with several issues and by the amount of lost/stolen/miss delivered/no refund/insurance complaints, should consider ourselves lucky.Every postal delivery was received damaged, yet the contents were still received due to secondary bubble pack.Several gold coins purchased for numismatic grading sold as brilliant uncirculated (BU) were of very poor quality, tinged with fingerprints and spotted. Less than 30 percent were acceptable to send for grading and those received a far lower grade (AU58) than what a BU coin is expected to meet (** ********* NGC ** 67 graded coin purchased was shown in a pristine coin carrier, the item received had so much damaged to the carrier that the coin was not viewable. APMEX had no resolve and extremely rude CS person hung up on us. Item sent to NGC to be repackaged at our expense.A few months ago we began receiving spoof emails APMEX_NEWS, these had our PII, CCard info and portfolio info of every purchase from APMEX. Notified APMEX numerous times and the response from CS was that is was not their concern. After several more notifications, the most alarming is that nefarious entities actual know EXACTLY what coins and bullion we have AND our address. We have since deleted our CCard and shipping info and asked that our accounts be deleted.The damage however is already done and APMEX has made us a target for home invasion. We have purchased protection K9s, upgraded ****************** system as well as conceal carry permit at our expense.Please choose wisely when deciding to purchase coins and/or bullion online. We hope you never have to endure what too many of us have had to by purchasing from APMEX.
