    1. Since October 17th of this year; 2022, McBride Hospital of **** City has called 6 to 8 times. Each call from McBride demanding that at time of my arrival for my appointment scheduled the 22nd of Nov 2022 be paid of over $800.I have explained each time that with my ins ** after I called was:1. The ins ** is behind 4 to 5 weeks out on processing their claims. In other words; any claims not yet processed before my procedure should be **nsidered in reducing my annual $5,000 deductible. However, McBride insists that because the ins ** is behind on their claims, I am still required to pay the $800.Ac**rding to my benefits, and my rights as an insurance holder; all claims filed are based on a first **me first serve claims process. So my procedure that was done on Oct 26th, an out-patient procedure that has not yet been processed with my ins **; McBride is still refusing to accept this adjustment (any adjustment deduction) towards my $800. McBride furthermore has said that if I bring a document stating my out-patient procedure on Oct 26th they would **nsider it. However, once again with another phone call today, Nov 21st demanding $800 even though I have my document from Oct 26th stating this out-patient procedure done; which should reduce my $800 that they still say I need to pay.2. Also this procedure on the 22nd of Nov, I checked around the different facilities to get the cheapest rate and McBride's charge was quoted me $1,900. With my ins policy, my part is 20% after the ins part of 80%. By these figures, even if I owed the full $800, my portion would only be $400 not the *** of $800.3. I have stated with McBride each phone call that I will not pay more then required because if I pay too much it takes 2 years before I would see a refund. Medical facilities are slow in returning clients any money owed to them and I will not over pay until ins has been finalized then make remainder payments.4. And furthermore, my ins has stated I owe no **payment.

    I had a SI joint fusion surgery scheduled with Dr.**** on April 11. I am on disability and have ******** part a and part B only. When I called the business office I was told that I would have to come up with $1800 by the day of surgery because I would have one night of inpatient and I had not met my ******** part a deductible plus certain fees. I was also treated very badly by his nurse and his scheduler. I was told in an email that they knew I was in pain but that I needed to quit bothering them. I decided to try to find another doctor that performed the same kind of surgery that would not require me to have that much money upfront. I called the hospital medical records and sent them a form to have my medical records forwarded to another doctor that I was told also performed that surgery. I never once said anything about canceling my surgery or physical to get a second opinion it was merely because this doctor was not going to require money at front and was affiliated with Mercy where I have assistance. I have been working with the compliance officer through the hospital who has tried to help me the best he can. I received a call from the *** today telling me that this particular doctor was going to fire me because I canceled my surgery and I could not get my A1 C down to where it belonged. My endocrinologist sent a letter letter to the doctor to tell him that my A-1 C had went from **** to 8.2 and I was working on getting it down to where it needed to be for surgery. The *** just informed me that this particular doctor will not see me and I need to seek further treatment from someone outside of the hospital because I canceled my surgery and I could not get my A1c down . That is very unfair and unlawful over Hospital?? as far as I am concerned. That is very unfair and unlawful over Hospital?? as far as I am concerned. I have had no problems with the doctor but I have had problems with his nurse So I would merely not recommend this doctor *** to his staff.
