  Terrible company. Spent $14,000 having them install a brand new Rhein heat pump in our home. The system is now 6 months old and has had nothing but problems. Im tired of calling Rucker to have them figure it out, clearly their staff is incapable of figuring out what is wrong with their brand new install. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for HVAC work. Also I found where their tech left a huge bundle of wires. Very unprofessional and dangerous. I will be filing a complaint with the licensing authority since they clearly cant provide proper oversight.

  We had one issue with this system after it was installed.  The drain line froze during very cold weather.  We responded immediately and got the issue resolved.  When spring arrived and they began using the ac, they called and said the ac is not working. We responded the same day and found that the nest thermostat had the system stuck calling for heat.  We informed the customer at that time, that the nest thermostat was not compatible with a dual fuel heat pump system.  We installed a regular thermostat on 5/19/23.  The customer bought a new nest thermostat and installed it.  They called back again, to say the ac was down.  We promptly responded and found the same issue with the dual fuel kit and the nest thermostat fighting each other and causing the thermostat to stick in heat mode. The dual fuel kit must be installed on a heat pump system for it to work with a regular thermostat.  The nest thermostat has the program feature to run the dual fuel, which is why they are fighting each other. The tech wired around the dual fuel kit we installed at the time of installation of the system, to allow their nest to control the system. This work was done on 5/31/23   It was working fine when the tech left.  They called back on 6/9/23 to tell us they wanted to call another company out and wanted the notes on what we had done.  The system works fine, without the nest thermostat.  So they are holding ** responsible for a nest thermostat that is causing problems with their system.  We tried to accommodate the customer and wire around the dual fuel kit that is needed on the system with a regular thermostat.  They have now chosen to get another company out to take over.  We were doing our best to respond to their needs in a timely manner and explain what was going on.  They have become very unreasonable and blame the problems on our technicians not knowing what they are doing.  When in fact this is a thermostat issue that they installed.
