August 9th 2022 KattFest was held at the zoo amp, "due to weather" only 3 of the 5 bands played, this was a dual headliner concert only on headliner played. DCF concerts does not want give refunds even thou it stated rain or shine on the ticket stub. There solution is to allow us to see a different concert that they have chosen which is not sufficient. They should either allow us to pick the concert or issue a refund. ORDER ID: ********* Order total $114.80Business Response

thanks so much for continuing to forward complaints. I can state that DCF Concerts stance on this event is same as the previous ones I issued, no refunds are issued as the headlining artist played this performance on August 9, 2022.
DCF Concerts has produced around 15,000 concert events over the past 30 years and while this show was a tough one due to weather circumstances that are considered ‘An Act of God’ in our industry, venue requirements, and mandatory evacuation in accordance with the National Weather Service (whom we hire at all outdoor events) there will not be refunds since the headlining artist performed their full concert set and the majority of the patrons did in fact return to enjoy that show. That particular verbiage is on all of our websites and on every ticket purchase made on this and previous and future shows. HALESTORM performed a full concert set – had they not, refunds would’ve been issued to every patron.
Ive attached a copy of the concert ticket issued in paper form, on web, in emails - depending upon a customers selected method of delivery at purchase time. You can see that it clearly states ********* as the headliner, no other bands are listed. They performed their set and our policy stands on this event that refunds cannot be issued.
You can forward future complaints to me if you like instead of the info@ address the answer will be the same. *note* I do not give permission to BBB to forward my personal work information to any complainant past present or future. Thank you so much for your patience with us and your understanding these extreme circumstances surrounding this isolated incident. On August 9th 2022, me and my boyfriend attended “KATTFEST” because The Pretty Reckless was 1 of the 2 main bands playing the show. They were the only reason I was interested in attending the event. They were set to take the stage at 7:30 PM. At 6:45 The Zoo Amphitheater made everyone exit the venue, and go sit in their cars while we waited out a possible storm. After 1 hour and 45 minutes (8:30pm) we were finally let back into the venue. At around 9 PM Halestorm went on stage and I left because, I was only there for The Pretty Reckless and they were not allowed to perform. I reached out to the venue, and asked for a partial refund because TPR did not play, and they were advertised as a Co-Headliner of the show. The Zoo Amphitheater Facebook page, told me that TPR was NOT a co-headliner, even though their own Facebook page and advertisements showed them as such. I believe I am entitled to at least a 50% refund, for two tickets to this show, since the other major band they advertised didn’t even play. It was such a bad experience.Business Response

On Aug 9th we attended Kattfest a 5 band concert at ********************. Around 6pm after the 2nd band had left the stage, we were told to "shelter in place" but we had to leave the venue. No explanation of how to find out when we could go back in. During this time we were listening to the radio, which only said that they were "live" and the concert was still going on noting that bands had just left or came onto the stage.....even tho that was lie. Approximately 8:30 we were told by security that it had been cancelled and to go home. Shortly before 9pm they opened the gates back up after telling people it was cancelled. They put the headliner on so that they wouldn't have to pay for the refunds. I want a full refund since they are the ones who broke their purchase agreement by it NOT being a "rain or shine" concert and per the venue rules, once we left we weren't allowed back in. While trying to get this resolved without the BBB, I have been ignored and blocked by The ***** and totally ignored by both The Zoo Amphitheatres and DCF ConcertsBusiness Response

Thank you for notifying DCF Concerts of the complaint regarding a show which was delayed by weather occurrences at **************** in ************* on August 9, 2022 with the artist ********* headlining. While we have responded to this ticket purchaser numerous times with this information, we will clarify for the BBB that DCF Concerts policy and the policies of all live concert touring on a global level only issue refunds if the headlining artist on the concert ticket does NOT perform. All concert events wherein the headliner performs are non-refundable. The headlining artist, ********* performed at this event on August 9, 2022 --- the performance was delayed by one hour and 20 minutes as we evacuated the venue due to lightning strikes within a particular radius. All patrons were informed to "check social media, the venue website, and listen to the radio station that was promoting the event, and stand by as this event would be occurring if clearance was given by the ************************** At no time was it stated that the event was being canceled. When clearance was given, all patrons were admitted back into the venue and the artist performed. This patron did not utilize any of the resources available to them, including free broadcast radio that can be listened to from any motor vehicle. The show was not canceled, only delayed, therefore we will not be issuing a refund.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: DCF Concerts failed to read the rules of the venue, as the rules clearly say once you leave you CANNOT be allowed back in. Furthermore when I contacted them they said that **** was "live" and telling us to standby, this is a lie as the screenshots can prove from other people, and that the Katt was actually announcing the a band had just left the stage. Also there was no announcement to look here or anywhere, the official announcement was "due to incoming weather shelter in place, but you have to leave the venue". I know I'm not the only one of ticket buyers that were screwed. There was apparently a miscommunication between DCF Concerts and THEIR representatives at the venue, that isn't my fault but the fault of DCF Concerts and I shouldn't have to pay the price for what THEIR representatives at the venue told me and many others. I have also started an investigation with the company that sold the tickets for DCF Concerts for fraud, because it's apparent that DCF Concerts knew about people being told it was cancelled by their representatives, thus I can prove by how people have been blocked from commenting on their partners page about the event. It is also apparent fraud by DCF Concerts as the delay way not 1 hr and 20 minutes, but rather 3 hours. This is obvious fraud when DCF Concerts themselves can't say how long the delay way, they changed their story from when I messaged them, and they got the headliner on stage so they wouldn't have to pay refunds, even tho a quarter to half of their audience wasn't there. I also must add that at NO TIME during the announcement was anything told of how to know when we were allowed back in. But according to DCF Concerts, the Katt was announcing to hold in place, when that was clearly a lie. All I'm asking for is a full refund and this all goes awayI need this added to my complaint, along with this.....******** is the complaint number .....
DCF Concerts says they had 1 headliner, but per their own poster, there was actually 2 headliners.
Sincerely,
