We brought in an iPhone 12 Pro Plus into a Batteries Plus, located in ******, ********, to have one of the camera lenses replaced due to it being cracked. Other than this issue, the device worked perfectly, no other issues.In the process of removing the single camera lens for replacement, Batteries Plus broke the display screen. They replaced the display at no charge with a new display they received from a 3rd party vendor. However, the 3rd party display did not work properly resulting in the touch display not responding to typing, or displaying incorrect characters after typing in a character. After looking around in the phone, the Apple Iphone alerted us that there was a compatibility issue specifically with the 3rd party screen that was installed by Batteries Plus.We took the phone back to Batteries Plus for resolution and they said it's normal for the screen to be incompatible after replacing with a 3rd party screen. So, they refused to remedy the issue and told us they would not replace the screen with a working part. Facts:1. Display screen was in perfect working order when we dropped the phone off. We only asked for camera lens to be replaced 2. It is NOT NORMAL operation for a device to be incompatible. If the parts are incompatible then the phone will not operate correctly 3. It cost us over $350.00 to have the screen replaced. It is working perfectly now 4. That lens and screen that they replaced was done incredibly sloppy, there were glue fingerprints left all over the phone and on the backside of the lens 5. The manager said there is nothing wrong with the 3rd party screen despite the phone stating there was a compatibility issue.I have been doing business with this particular store for many years and trusted them. But, Batteries Plus destroyed our phone. Phones are very expensive and you don't take them to just any repair shop. You take it to someone you trust. My only mistake was trusting these incompetant monkeys.
