I participated in Geekstorage’s affiliate program beginning in October 2014 and generated 10 customer referrals between 2014-2020. According to their published affiliate terms, commissions are approved after customers remain active for 91 days, with a $100 minimum payout threshold.
Of the $325 in total commissions earned, Geekstorage has only paid $85 in 2015, leaving an unpaid balance of $240 that has been outstanding for over 10 years.
When I contacted ******* *** (********************), he claimed all unpaid referrals were “early cancellations (who opted for refunds), orders that were not paid for, and one fraudulent signup.” However, no documentation or proof was provided to substantiate these claims.
      Specific Problems:
      1. The company’s affiliate dashboard still shows multiple referrals marked as “Cancelled” but provides no transparent breakdown showing which customers allegedly requested refunds versus which remained past the 91-day threshold.
      2. According to their own terms, commissions are “automatically approved” after 91 days. If customers cancelled before this period, the commissions should never have appeared as earned in my dashboard.
      3. I have not received any itemized accounting showing which specific referrals were supposedly fraudulent, refunded, or unpaid, despite requesting clarification.
      4. The company has had over 10 years to address this issue but has failed to either pay the owed commissions or provide adequate documentation proving the commissions were not earned.
      Desired Resolution:
I am requesting one of the following:
      1. Payment of the full $240 in unpaid commissions that are legitimately owed per their affiliate terms, OR
      2. A detailed, itemized accounting with proof (dates, refund records, fraud reports) showing exactly why each unpaid commission was invalidated, along with payment of any legitimately earned commissions that meet their 91-day and payment requirements.
      Supporting Documentation:

Customer is trying to extort us out of commissions from over five years ago that never matured (in all the referral transactions being disputed, the referred orders either did not get paid or were canceled and received a full refund within 30 days, therefore no commission was due). All relevant documentation is attached.

Our affiliate referral commissions are paid out if these criteria are met:

      - Referred customer signs up with us

      - Referred customer stays with us for 90 days

Three of the pictured referral commissions were paid out to the affiliate; the rest did not meet the criteria for payout because they did not stay with us for 90 days or never paid for their order, as indicated in the documentation/image provided.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I can clearly see how much I earned from my referrals via their own system.

      Sincerely,

Customer disagrees, we don't really have anything else to add. Our system isn't incorrect, and we know what is owed to the client and what isn't, and we've made that clear. Our information and stance remains unchanged.
