    My car was in the Ferguson Buick shop for about two months for non-collision service. During that time, Ferguson reported they resurfaced rotors and installed new pads on the rear brakes; and also replaced the air conditioning compressor, seals and receiver dryer. The charge for these two items was a little more than $2,000.Until some five months later after winter weather had passed, the air conditioner's ability to cool could not be properly tested. When it was tested on a warm day, it was discovered the unit was not cooling at all. In addition, the rear brakes had begun making noise, so I took the car to another dealer. That dealer reported to me the rear brakes' hardware was worn out, so the pads needed replacement and the rotors turned. They informed me they believed that the rotors had not been replaced for a considerable amount of time. They also stated the air conditioner compressor needed to be replaced and that it, too, seemed to have been on the car for a long time.Ferguson said they did the reported work. But independent evaluation by a disinterested third party seems in conflict with that representation.

    Sales and finance experience was great overall. Owned my brand new Yukon less than 3 weeks before it made its first trip to the service dept. We are now on trip #8 to the service dept without resolution. They continuously say let’s try this or that and week after week I have to take time out of my day to take the vehicle back to the dealership only to pick it up each time with the same issue. After the 3rd trip, we asked them to purchase the vehicle back and they laughed, and offered us nearly $30k less than we paid for the vehicle brand new with 1 mile on it. At this point they have had the vehicle more than I have and do not seem to have a lick of sympathy for the headache the vehicle has caused. Do NOT recommend purchasing a GMC Yukon and do NOT recommend letting this kind of thing go on as long as I have. I have been kind and have refrained from taking their surveys or leaving reviews this long however their lack of care and their attitudes around the situation have left me no choice but to let everyone know how they handle things in the service dept. We have opened a case with GM directly but it shouldn’t have came to this.
