MARCH OF THIS YEAR WENT IN FOR A RADIATOR ISSUES ALSO TOLD THEM I HAD SOME SLIPPING IN TRANSMISSION GOING ON. REPAIRED RADIATOR AND SAID THEY COULD DO TRANSMISSION BUT NEEDED $3000.00 TO ORDER IT. TOOK THE MONEY IMMEDIATELY TOOK APPROXIMATELY 5 WEEKS TO GET MY CAR BACK.IT CAME WITH A 130 THOUSAND MILE WARRANTY.
PAID ANOTHER 2000.00 FOR WORK COMPLETED. ON JULY 30TH TRANSMISSION WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY TOOK THE CAR BACK THEY DID DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE TO BE THE TRANSMISSION. TODAY ALMOST 6 WEEKS LATER AFTER MAKING 2 CAR PAYMENTS AND INSURANCE DUE AND COSTING ME APPROXIMATELY 130 DOLLARS A DAY I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CAR BACK WITH NO DATE OF IT BEING COMPLETED. THEY HAVE PUT 2 TRANSMISSIONS FROM THEIR SUPPLIER THAT HAVE NOT BEEN USEABLE. I FEEL THIS BUSSINESS SHOULD HAVE FIXED THE RADIATOR AND BEEN HONEST IN SAYING THEY WEREN'T QUALIFIED TO DO TRANSMISSION WORK. THIS IS NOT HURTING THEIR LIVELIHOOD OR PUTTING A BIG FINANCIAL BURDEN ON THEM BUT IS CAUSING A LARGE ISSUE FOR ME. UNFORTUNATELY I FEEL I HAVE NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER AND AM PLANNING TO CONTACT A LOCAL TV STATION TO HELP ME GET THIS MATTER TAKEN CARE OF. AT THIS TIME THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF MONEY IT HAS COST ME BESIDES THE 5K FOR THE REPAIRS IS AROUND 3 THOUSAND.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/19/2025

The customer, ***** ****, expressed frustration over repeated transmission failures in her vehicle, which required multiple replacements. The service provider acknowledged her frustration and confirmed that they had sourced a salvaged transmission after two previous transmissions that had failed. (All transmissions were salvage transmission from a vendor - LKQ.)

We provider communicated with ***** **** throughout the process, keeping her updated on the search for a better transmission, which ultimately took about a month to find.

Upon receiving another salvaged transmission from LKQ, we discovered that the internal oil pump was also faulty, leading to further delays and frustration for both parties.

Our district manager, **** *********, intervened and contacted the vendor, LKQ, to address the issues and negotiate support for ***** ****, including LKQ covering half of her rental fees due to the extended time without her vehicle.

***** **** was reportedly satisfied with the communication and the offer of assistance. Another salvaged transmission arrived this Tuesday (9-16-2025) and we are ready to install it for the consumer.
