    I purchased a vehicle through Joe Cooper Easy Credit Auto, financed through Oklahoma Motor Credit Company. On April 11th, I made a payment and requested a due date change to reflect my actual income cycle (paid on the 31st). Instead, my new due date was set for April 16th—just 5 days later—despite being informed I would not be paid until the end of the month.

    I was pressured into signing the new due date paperwork at my workplace within 24 hours under threat that the “opportunity would be gone” if I didn’t. This created a payment expectation I could not meet. I was denied refinancing or rescheduling options. On April 17th, I contacted the lender and explained I could not pay until the 31st. I was ignored. On April 21st, my vehicle was repossessed—despite me making a full payment on April 11th. At the time of repossession, I was told I could recover the vehicle by paying the past due balance and repo fee. When I tried to do so, upper management refused and instead demanded the entire loan balance in full.

    I was never provided a full loan summary or accurate payoff amount, and my payment schedule was never properly aligned with my income. I attempted multiple times to contact management, and was hung up on repeatedly, including during the repossession.

    This entire situation occurred while I am in the middle of an active guardianship case concerning my children. The loss of my vehicle has caused emotional and financial distress, impacted my court-related responsibilities, and was a direct result of manipulative and misaligned lending practices

    I'm being charged *** for some months due to errors from ******************* not reading our insurance policy and then taking those *** payment off in a reversal but not refunding the money. Furthermore we've sent all of our payments on time the due date is the 8th of every month they're not posting our payments until later in the month which is creating the payment to be late. We've sent them emails of everything that they've asked for but then they say they don't receive the emails and if you look in the exhibits that we've sent it shows that all emails have been sent with everything that they're asking for. ***** and I are both on disability and the stress from their bad business practices are making us sick we've had to go to the doctor several times. we just want this corrected. ******************* easy credit offers free oil changes for the life of the vehicle. However the car that we purchased requires synthetic and they use a synthetic blend. We requested to have the recommended oil put in the vehicle and they said that they only use one specific type for all the vehicles they own. So we've been paying for our own oil changes because the owner manual recommends synthetic oil. We called the The we called the Kia ********** and spoke with the maintenance department and they told us that they're using the wrong oil so we asked ******************* if they would put the same oil that the Kia ********** puts in the car, they rejected that request so we're not getting the free oil changes.Their oil will damage the engine, information we received from the maintenance department at **** ..........Conclusion. We've paid all our payments on time, some months they come back two months later and say that we didn't pay the *** and tell us they're going to turn the vehicle off if the payments not paid that day. very unfair. We've also fallen behind on other bills due to them charging us at different times threatening to cut off the vehicle.

    I had recently started to lease a 2015 jeep Cherokee from *** coopers in *************. I put down 1000 down payment on 2/22/2024. They asked if i was able to put another 1000 down on mar 8. I said i didnt know if i was able to. Well i drove car home. A couple days before 3/8/2024 i contacted *** coopers credit to let them know i wasnt going to be able to put another 1000 down. But i asked if i could pay 360 every two weeks instead of 260 to pay off remaining down payment. The person i spoke with named ***** said maybe they can work with that but to call back on 3/8/2024 to see if i would have the remaining down payment. Well i called back on 3/8 to let them know i didnt have remaining payment. Well they told me if i didnt have the payment they would shut off engine. So they did. My first payment wasnt due till 3/23/2024. So i wasnt late on no payments. I only had car for 2 weeks. I would like to get my 1000 down payment back. I need to purchase a new vehicle so i can go to work. Im having to miss work because of them shutting off engine. Thank you

    My ex husband and I financed an older vehicle from this company in 2015ish.. Had the lemon for a month and half and stopped working..When we told them the issue and that they could pick it up, they said it was an insurance claim. They also said the engine was ruined and they refused to fix it...so we had no choice but to do a voluntary repo...Now it's 2023 and they're are trying to stick me with a $31,000 balance...they have emptied my account through my bank without notification of any kind.

    We are repeat customers and we are happy with the vehicle. HOWEVER!! We have ran into some tough times and tried to get a deferment to help through the struggles. Each time we have been denied! Our last account manager let us do it with our other vehicle. The whole finance department are rude and disrespectful. I went in today to ask for a deferment because my uncle has passed away and I have to go out of state and take off work without pay. I was denied once again, even though I have proof that I will talking off work without pay. She denied it and I left. I called to speak to someone to go around her to get it approved and apparently there is no one. We seriously, and financially need this deferment. I can't attend my uncle's funeral and be there for my family without it.

    So my mom doesn't have a driver license because of her eyes problem but she wants to buy a car for my dad ( she still have state id and all other paperwork that required for a loan, her credit score was 780 at that time ). At first, they said it's OK as far as my dad will be on the application as a co-sign and the car insurance don't need to have my mom list as driver, which is cool because you know my mom doesn't have a driver license. After a year they started to charged extra $50 Every Single Payment Time for what they called CPI, as far as i know it's car insurance. The problem is my car already have an insurance and it has everything they require except my mom name has to be list as a driver which the insurance company CAN NOT do it because my mom doesn't have a driver license. I called and talked with them several times and they said they can't change it !!! they quiet when i asked if they already know my mom doesn't have driver license why they sold her a car and ask for a car insurance with her name on it after that.

    I purchased a 2018 dodge journey on July 10th, 2023. And after driving it off the lot (paid $2000 downpayment over a 2wk time frame) about 2 hrs later I was headed to texas and the check engine light came on, so the next morning after returning home we had the car tested at Auto Zone and it turned about the car needed a new catalytic converter, and on day 2 of having the car we called the car lot and they had us bring it in! Upon fixing this issue they realized it needed a whole new front end , in which these 2 things WEREN'T covered under warranty and because we had just bought it they put it under our warranty, and we let the sales manager and our salesmen from 07-10-23 that the car had a bad odor and when we tried to find the smell we realized there wasn't so much filth in the car plus mold and mildew! Our salesmen reassured us that this vehicle had been detailed and ready for purchase, but that wasn't the case. While we were describing our issues to the sales manager on day 3 of having the car while the issues were being worked on. He simply laughed I'm our face and said " what do you want me to do about it" 5 days later I get the car back and there was a clunking sound when I turn the wheel left or right, I called the car lot back and the service **** replied "we heard the sound, but could find it so we gave it back to you" we feel as they sold us a vehicle that was never road worthy! We talked to a manager and he said we have yall 30 days to let us of any issues and we let them know face to face on day 3 of having the car there were issues and got laughed at. They are refusing to even get the vehicle road worth including a cleaner vehicle and fixing the clunking noise that I had looked at a mechanic shop and it turns out it's the power steering pressure line that needs to be fixed, and within the 30days of the purchase I called to see if it's covered and again they blew me off!

    They lied and repo my car and ***************** is the guy that threatened my and took 3.3 thousand from me and the car the money. I lost my job my doc visits and depression and made me homeless and fraud in 10 weeks he called for days and never said anything but cal him back and **** told me I'm good but came back weeks later said our mistakes charge me 500 more and I want my money back and ***** to prison and should be charged with fraud.

    Bought car 8 years ago from them. Had a warranty, broke down 3-4x requiring tow back to their shop.Had a verbal agreement with management that they would put me in another vehicle and credit money paid to another vehicle on the lot.When it broke down again, they acted as if that conversation never happened.I told them to keep my down payment and payments paid at the time, PLUS the car, which they surely resold.They said it would be counted as a repo, NOT TRUE, Voluntary surrender, they do their own financing in house and I was not behind on payments.(IT WAS NEVER REPORTED ON MY CREDIT AS A REPO)Looking at the other complaints, this is a racket!8 years later I get a garnishment for 20k on my pay, when the car was worth 8.7k at the time they received it.I am currently looking into my legal options as I am financially able to at this point in my life.I am worried about the lower income individual that they have probably done this to.Looking at their track record, F score to boot, they are scamming people.I will be writing my representatives in state Legislature.I do have the financial means to litigate.

    2015 ****** Murano from ******************* Easy Credit Auto didn't know that I would have issues with the title. They sold me a car that you could not register. I returned the car back they're trying to charge me for the remainder balance. Both ******************* and motor credit received legal notice in regards to providing a vehicle in good ***** because the title had liens and you could not register the car. The contract does not lie because they had 30 days to get that title to me and they never did. I called the *** insurance place because I want to file a claim and they told me that I have to go through them to file a claim I called the motor credit number no one answered the phone and the *** insurance that I was paying monthly on the time when I had the payment to make should pay the remaining balance. And I'm also filing the claim with the ******** commission department as well because they sold me a car and I could not register and they sold me it in bad ***** knowing that the car could not be registered the car had never been registered and the car was returned December 31st. They are trying to charge me the remaining balance they're trying to say that which is not correct how do you go from a $10,000 car to $20,000 to $30,000 which is insanely incorrect. It's illegal. And it's legal issue problem. They actually sold the car again it was on the ******************* website exact vin number and miles. They sold it to another customer and still trying to charge me for it. When all a long they sold a car in bad ***** ****** Murano. When the dealer doesn't deliver title in time or a clear title it cancels out the contract. This is not over. They are running a Ponzi Scheme fraud at ******************* Easy Credit ********** Credit *********** Marking up cars that are not even worth that price. I want my money back and demand a full refund. The contract does not lie Nov 5 and never got a title but still took money and vehicle returned and they still trying to s**** me.
