              This business will take your subscription money and not provide the service. We paid for 6 months in advance to receive our newspaper. After a month we had to move, so we cancelled the newspaper and requested a refund of the 5 months that had been paid. We were informed that they no longer refund the money of paid subscriptions. This is an awful way to conduct business. I know the newspaper is a dying breed with all the digital technology, but customer service should still be the primary concern. If you pay for a service, you should receive the service and if you pay in advance and have to cancel, you should be refunded the balance. I would suggest to just pay monthly and not opt to pay for 6 months or a year. Just bad business practice, if not illegal.

              We do not refund short-term subscriptions, but this was for a 6-month term. The request was made Feb. 14 and the transaction was processed the same day, and the balance refunded to the client's CC.
