    Nov 15, 2022, I put 2 Dallas ****** custom jerseys (#**-*********************** & #**-***************************) in ********************** to be cleaned, which were to cost $9.00. Nov 21, 2022, went to pick up jerseys, upon inspection, realized both jerseys were ruined. Both custom numbers and names appeared to be cracked and looked like they were peeling. Notified clerk of the condition of the jerseys. I was very upset and don't remember if I paid for cleaning or not, left the jerseys there. The clerk informed me that I would have to talk to the owner, who would be in after 3 pm. I did call the owner, **********, who informed me that due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there was nothing he could do until Monday. Furthermore, I would have to file a claim with his insurance company, whom he was sure would compensate me for the ruined jerseys. Called ********** on Dec 7, to follow-up. ********** asked me how much the jerseys costed, I went on the Fanatics Officially Licensed online website, found similar jerseys that cost $**9.99 each for a total of $279.98 which did not include taxes, shipping and handling. ********** informed me that his insurance company was requiring me to provide receipts before they would reimburse me. I told him this was not acceptable and asked for my jerseys back. He refused my request. I asked for the name of the insurance company, phone number and point of contact, which he also refused to give me, stating he would call them 1st thing Thursday morning, Dec 8th. I asked him if I could expect to hear from the insurance adjuster by Friday, Dec 9th, he said yes. To date, ********** or representatives from his insurance company have contacted me. I contacted my son who gifted these custom jerseys to me trying to obtain receipts per ************** request. I would like to be compensated for both my jerseys ruined by the **********************, which cost approximately $200.00 (according to my son, purchased at the ****** Store) each; total $400.00 not including taxes or other fees.
