  Hired Right Angle Tile and its owner ********************************* to remove ceramic tiles and replace with vinyl plank flooring. I already had purchased the vinyl plank so the only cost would have been labor for removing the ceramic tiles and disposal of said materials. He then laid the vinyl planks. The very meat day the floor began lifting and glue began seeping. The entire floor started bubbling everywhere (will submit pictures upon request). I contacted ********************** through text and requested he come to my home review the problem. We made arrangements for him to come a couple days later. He was a no-show! Followed up with a text requesting we reschedule and he has never responded. On 5/30/24, I sent him a demand letter, outlining the issue and proposed resolution. I provided him a 10 day window to respond and to date I have received nothing. Im a 73 year old retired senior lady and I feel he took advantage of me due to my age and lack of knowledge in laying flooring. It took a couple of years for me to save for this project on my meager income and he took my money and ran!

  Not an entirely accurate reflection of the events.... when I qouted the job I asked how long the material had been stored in the garage as it was leftovers from a previous installation and was told "not very long" and "just a couple months " when the issue of bubbling came up I again asked how long the material had been stored and still haven't gotten an answer.  In the complaint she claims to have saved for the project for years... that means the material has been stored for years in a non climate controlled garage.  This vinyl material is very sensitive to repeated temperature extreme and would absolutely have the issue she is claiming.  Perhaps if she had been honest about the length of storage this could have been avoided.  

  I have Pictures of the job the day after I installed it and it looks fantastic she even hugged me my last day there and was so excited about it.

  ********************** is not being truthful at all. I never told him anything the day he gave me a quote. All I said was that I already had the material and just needed a quote for labor. As for his statement about saving for years to do this project. Thats a complete falsehood. I had been saving for a few months but he altered the statement I made on the Nextdoor app regarding his unsatisfactory work. As for the storage of the materials, they were stored in my sons house for a couple of months prior to me hiring **********************. I also would like him to provide the pictures he took on the day of completion with dates from his phone. To my knowledge he never took any pictures after completion. I have many verifiable pictures taken subsequent to the job, a few were sent to him as he requested when I initially reached out to him. Those text messages can be provided upon request.  As for me HUGGING him!!! Im certainly not in the habit of hugging complete strangers!! I also had a qualified flooring expert look at the floor and he pulled up a couple of pieces and confirmed that a grinder had not been used before laying the new floor!
