In August of 2022 ***************************** entered into a contract with Solar Power of Oklahoma to install solar panels on their property. ***************************** paid Solar Power of Oklahoma a downpayment of $9,472.00 for the install of this system. ********************* became seriously ill in September 2022 and passed away on December 19th, 2022. Between October 2022 and December 2022, ******************* contacted Solar Power of Oklahoma and place this project on hold pending further notice. Unfortunately, *********************** passed away on April 15th, 2023. I, *********************, am the acting trustee for the estate and have been working to close the estate and selling the property. My son, ***********************, was in contact with ***********************, *************************** sales rep at Solar Power of Oklahoma. **** stated Solar Power of OK would issue a refund for the project upon hearing of ***** and ****'s deaths. We have reached out to Solar Power of Oklahoma 3 times via phone and have been told to expect a return phone call each time. The estate attorney's, *******************, sent Solar Power of Oklahoma a certified letter on July 27th, 2023. Despite all of this, we have not received any further communication from Solar Power of Oklahoma regarding the refund or project.The estate is seeking a full refund of the down payment paid for this project, $9,472.00. We are deeply disappointed that a local company has decided to take advantage of a situation like this, making the entire process difficult for our mother/grandparents and our family as we close the estate.
