    I spoke with Aaron about doing social media for his company, AK Roofing in October 2022. During the discussion I let him know that while i do not require a yearly contract like most agencies, i do require 30 days notice that can not be pro rated. I also let him know that even though it’s a monthly service i did recommend budgeting at LEAST 3 months, plus ad spend for the 3rd month to start up. Typically if they cannot commit to at least 3 months i will not accept them as a client, as, i want them to get something out of the money they’re spending and do not want my abilities tarnished. The first month is geared towards getting the social media algorithms in line, second month is geared towards traffic and the third month social media ads start running at the lowest cost for the highest reach due to the efforts during month 1 and 2. This was all explained prior to contracting.
    Aaron signed the contract and sent the money for the initial (set up fee plus first month) and service started on November 15, on January 1 i received a text message that he’d decided to put his marketing budget towards other avenues during their slow period. Understanding this, i responded that if he was wanting to cancel that he would still need to pay his 30 day notice but that i would defer his billing until March 1 (spring.)
    When i billed on March 1st ready to get started again i received no response, no response to any phone call or text message. By April i had an attorney send a demand letter to which i still received no response.
    I will remove this when your very, very past due invoice is paid.
