    I traded in my Honda in February 2022.in may I had a complete engine malfunction almost caused a wreck and I lost 1500 on my trip.it took primeaux 3 days to respond and they towed it because I'm 2 hours away and basically switched off the light.i took it to Kia in okc who serviced it. Had to get an extra oil change because I had no oil but they said I had no leak. Then again in July it went into limp mode.the dealership would not tow or respond so again I paid to have it serviced at kia. Instead of a new engine they rebooted my computer system. Not 2 weeks later oil light comes on air quits working .and it's stalling and not starring. Primeaux basically told me oh well then when I called a manager said come down.i put gas in and head down then they tell me no we can't work on it until next Monday or later and will gave to charge you. They took my trade a good car and oversold me a lemon and are frauds. I want my down payment to get a reliable vehicle. They are giving me the run around

    Ms. ***** did purchase a 2016 KIA Optima from us in Feb 2022. She called and stated that there was a complete engine malfunction. We had the vehicle towed from Oklahoma City at our expense. When we got the vehicle we found no problems other than a slight coolant leak. To be on the safe side we changed the thermostat and the thermostat housing gasket at no charge to the customer. See attached service ticket. In July she did show up at the dealership without an appointment and our technician was not in to look at her car. We are a small used car dealer with only one technician. She brought her car back a few days later. We did a complete diagnostic of the vehicle and could not find anything wrong. We charge for this service. She refused to pay and we wrote that off. Again - no cost to Ms. *****. We feel that we have been very fair with this customer and have addressed her concerns by doing the complete diagnostic at no charge 6 months after the purchase of the vehicle.

    Less than 2 months after having the vehicle I had an engine failure missed a trip that cost me over $2,000 had to argue with the dealership they towed the car down there days later and then magically had it fixed within hours a ticket to Kia after that and they showed me where all they did was turn off my check engine light the same thing happened again a few months later Kia rebooted the engine there's still issues with it I just want my money back that's it

    As stated before, we did not find anything wrong with Ms. *****'s vehicle. If we did, we would have fixed it. When Ms. ***** states that KIA rebooted her engine, this means they updated the computer due to a re-flash. According to our service manager this is common in cars and must be done by the manufacture's dealer when the manufacture has an update (in this case a KIA dealership). We did this on our Mitsubishi's when an update came available. This is very common and does not indicate a problem with the engine. From What Ms. ***** has stated, KIA has not done any major work on her car or diagnosed a problem.

    I have all records showing recalls and all I was not notified about.kia had to reboot computer.it has major mechanical issues.i was never allowed to test drive because I was returning a car I bought the previous day with engine failure.
