I had a horrible experience at Dave’s grilling style this week. This restaurant is close to where we live and we go there regularly. We had a family gathering this week and got food to go. When we got home we realized there were a couple of things missing from the order and went back to get them. ******, told our 20-year-old son that she put the missing items in the bag personally and that we were incorrect about things being missed. She also said that she couldn’t do anything without the receipt. (which we didn’t have, because the whole order was at home, and everyone was there waiting) So our son came back to get the receipt, which wasn’t in any of the bags. He reported that ****** flipped out on him and was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I decided maybe having an adult girl would be helpful, so I went myself. This time she told me that our order didn’t exist in the system and that she would not be replacing the missing food. No apology, no making it right, and insinuating that we made multiple trips back for a missing cheeseburger and some sauce. I’ve never seen anyone handle any situation more unprofessionally. I called today to talk with the owner and she hung up on me. We used to eat here regularly and will not be back. Neither will the rest of the family whose dinner got cold waiting for over an hour to get this dealt with.
