    Hired to have company replace gate in breezeway. That matches the gate he put up a couple years ago. Per contract he was also to have screens installed on front and back gates. This was due to the fact I have a dog and ***** in the back yard that animals crawl up to the house and on the breezeway. Once gates were up he stated he would come back a week later to install screens. He never returned to install them. Will not answer phone calls or texts. He was paid in full. Now I have to hire a contractor to put up screens I paid for.

    I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of my decision appear below.

     

    This company's poor professional behavior.  I do not wish to have anymore contact other than a refund of $700. This is due to the following reasons: 1. He will text and make an appointment for a day and time we agree he will show up. He either does not show up or shows up another day and time not discussed. I do work outside my home and have to take off on these days to be at home. That makes me loose that day's pay. 2. I had a company come and **************** the screens that were promised a year ago and the cost was $700. 3. False Accusations. There was a 80 per hour windstorm, and due to the poor quality of these screens one ripped and he blamed me for punching through it. There are also 7 trees down in my backyard I'm pretty sure I didn't punch those down too.
