  In November 2024, BBB contacted Mind and Body Infusion Therapies regarding claims in its advertising.  
  
  Its online advertising includes many health benefit claims related to the ingredients and treatments offered at its facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal and therapeutic claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims.  Substantiation should involve human testing that is blinded, performed by an independent third party, placebo-controlled, conducted on a sufficient scope of subjects, and ideally has been peer-reviewed. Claims concerning overall uniquely formulated products also require testing on the combination of ingredients in the product.  Specific ingredient claims also require substantiation. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in its advertising. 
  "Ketamine improves the cell signaling in the brain and helps reverse brain atrophy (shrinking) that is seen in patients with depression."
  "Intravenous (IV) Ketamine Infusion Therapy is thought to be 70-80% effective in treating the most difficult cases of treatment-resistant depression.
  “Ketamine is the world’s fastest acting antidepressant and is highly effective." 
  "Myth: Ketamine treatment can cause addiction  - Fact: Ketamine alone is not an addictive drug, However, when it is combined with other drugs, it can become addictive"
  "IV Nutrition Therapy: Promotes better cardiovascular health, Decrease stress and anxiety, Improve muscular contraction and function, Boost to your immune system, Enhanced mental health and overall well-being, Antioxidant (anti-aging and cellular health), Help maintain healthy skin and bone, Prevent muscle loss, Speed up metabolism, Improve overall brain function, Prevents muscle damage, Prevents cholesterol build-up, Accelerate healing, Prevent fatigue, Produce more red blood cells, Improve endurance, Anti-inflammatory and pain relief.”
